But Comcast's mooted 250 Gig cap seems infinitely generous compared with Telkom's 3 Gig monthly maximum, and anything else one has to pay extra for.

The era of unlimited Internet usage for a flat monthly price is one step closer to its end, as cable giant Comcast officially announced today that residential subscribers would top out at 250 gigabytes (GB) per month of data bandwith availability, beginning October 1.

Critics of metered broadband say that the plans offer too little bandwith for too high a price. Customers will shy away from using high-speed Internet's full potential, such as uploading or streaming videos, if they are afraid of going over their limits in doing so, and that companies who are supporting metered plans do so to protect their own video channels and hamstring competitors such as YouTube.

Kyle Maynard was born missing the biggest parts of his arms and legs due to congental amputation, a condition in which the limbs are constricted and die due to lack of oxygen in utero. Yet he became a grade school football player and then a wrestler. Maynard’s high school record in wrestling was 35 wins and 16 losses. He now wrestles for the University of Georgia, where he is majoring in broadcast news. Maynard won an ESPY Award in 2004 for the Best Athlete With A Disability. His autobiography is called No Excuses: The True Story of a Congenital Amputee Who Became a Champion in Wrestling and in Life.

Medieval manuscript stays in UK

An 13th Century manuscript, thought to be the earliest surviving English roll of arms, is to stay in the UK.

The British Library paid £194,184 for the Dering Roll, which depicts the coats of arms of medieval knights from Kent and Sussex.

The painted manuscript contains 324 coats-of-arms

It contains 324 coats-of-arms beginning with two of King John's illegitimate children, Richard Fitz Roy and William de Say.

Above each shield is written the knight's name.

The 17th Century politician and Lieutenant of Dover Castle, Sir Edward Dering, erased a coat-of-arms on the roll and replaced it with one that bore the name of a fictional ancestor, Richard fitz Dering, in an attempt to forge his family history.

Goodman Charged with Obstruction; Felony Riot Charges Pending Against Kouddous and Salazar

All three were violently manhandled by law enforcement officers. Abdel Kouddous was slammed against a wall and the ground, leaving his arms scraped and bloodied. He sustained other injuries to his chest and back. Salazar’s violent arrest by baton-wielding officers, during which she was slammed to the ground while yelling, “I’m Press! Press!,” resulted in her nose bleeding, as well as causing facial pain. Goodman’s arm was violently yanked by police as she was arrested.

Many paralytic patients are getting the chance to walk again, thanks to a newly developed electronic exoskeleton.

The so-called ReWalk device was developed by Amit Goffer, founder of Argo Medical Technologies, a small Israeli high-tech company. Goffer was paralyzed in 1997, but is unable to use his own invention because he doesn’t have full function of his arms.

ReWalk resembles a combination of the exoskeleton of a crustacean and the suit worn by comic hero Iron Man. It allows paraplegics to stand, walk and climb stairs.

"I never dreamed I would walk again. After I was wounded, I forgot what it's like," said 41-year-old Radi Kaiof, who was injured while serving in the Israeli military in 1988.

"Only when standing up can I feel how tall I really am and speak to people eye to eye, not from below."

Through using a wristband, patients can choose from a setting – stand, sit, walk, descend or climb

MOSCOW, September 1 (RIA Novosti) - Russia would like to see the imposition of an embargo on arms supplies to Georgia until a change of leadership takes place in the Caucasus state, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Monday

"To guarantee the region is protected against new outbreaks of violence, Russia will continue to take measures to make sure that the [Mikheil Saakashvili] regime is unable to commit evil deeds ever again," Lavrov said.

"It would be appropriate to impose an embargo on arms supplies on that regime until different leaders have turned Georgia into a normal country," he said.

Lavrov's remarks came as European Union leaders were due to gather later on Monday for an emergency summit to focus on the Georgia crisis and review relations with Moscow.

Lavrov said Moscow hopes the EU will make the right choice at its summit.

"The European Union summit today will clarify a lot. We hope the choice will be made based on Europe's fundamental interests," Lavrov said.
