I keep getting runtime error messages on my computer. I have already updated every program on my computer including Windows. I have run both my virus protection program and my antispyware program. I have read dozens of websites that all tell me to do this as well as edit out bad entries in my registry, but I’m not sure what to take out of my registry and I heard that if I remove the wrong thing I can ruin my computer. Is there something I can do that will fix this problem without me having to spend countless more hours fighting this?

I was minding my own business and was writing some poetry on my computer when a new window popped up. It took me by surprise and worried me a little when I read it. It said that my computer may have spyware on it and that I should allow Antispy2008 to do a scan of my system. I didn’t want any spyware on my computer, so I gave the program permission to do the scan.
