clipper's remarks: The minimum drinking age in Italy is 16. I've been in bars packed with teens and there was no excess drinking or obnoxious behavior. The only sloppy drunks I saw were two American kids outside of a bar in Florence: one was puking while the other was raving.

BEIJING — Henry Cejudo, the 21-year-old prodigy who had competed in only one world-level senior tournament before Beijing, won the gold medal Tuesday at Olympic freestyle 55-kilogram wrestling.

Behind its towering brick walls, the pillars and arches adorned with marble and ornate stone decorations is a Molly Stark hospital that many wouldn't recognize.

Age, water leaks and arson have rotted Molly Stark from the inside. Ribbons of old paint stream from the ceilings and walls. Saliha's slender frame and voice betray her young age.Asked why she was serving seven years in jail alongside hardened insurgents and criminals, the 15-year-old giggled and buried her head in her friend's shoulder.

"She is shy," apologised fellow inmate Zirdana, explaining that the teenager had been married at a young age to an abusive husband and ran away with a boy from her neighbourhood.

Saliha was convicted of escaping from home and illegal sexual relations. The first carries a maximum penalty of 10 years, the second 20. These are two of the most common accusations facing female prisoners in Afghanistan.

RALEIGH, North Carolina - College presidents from about 100 of the best-known U.S. universities, including Duke, Dartmouth and Ohio State, are calling on lawmakers to consider lowering the drinking age from 21 to 18, saying current laws actually encourage dangerous binge drinking on campus.

Other prominent schools in the group include Syracuse, Tufts, Colgate, Kenyon and Morehouse.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving says lowering the drinking age would lead to more fatal car crashes. It accuses the presidents of misrepresenting science and looking for an easy way out of an inconvenient problem. MADD officials are even urging parents to think carefully about the safety of colleges whose presidents have signed on.

The American Education System is great- I truly believe that. I personally come from a family of educators (I even married one) and I would never discount the importance of a good education. I think teachers are some of the most undervalued and under appreciated individuals in this country.

With that said, I will also argue that the American Education System is flawed and here’s why… Our education system only teaches people how to become employees, nothing more. The system was created and constructed during a different time and it has done little to adapt to the evolution of society. The standards that are still set forth in the daily teachings were formulated from a time when steel was king and the railroad was laying the path for travel and industry. It was an era known as the Industrial Age. We are now in the Information Age (and have been for quite some time), yet the basis for our education still remains cast in stone- or should I say

If they don't want people filming on/in their property and any altercations that occur therein then they have every right to inform her. It shouldn't matter if you're 56 or 16 - they will enforce it. Not to sound like a total jerk but how many would be saying "Oh the poor thing!" if this tale were about a 16 year old boy?

Yeah, it was a bit terse the way they handled it and they could have been a little nicer overall, there was no need of the accusations and attitude, but still - its their right.

We pay for the privilege of the service, using their machine for personal transport, we do not have an inherent right to fly and to disregard the rules of public vs. private property.
