We know these are one wing of a global dominance effort who've basically hi-jacked a manufactured issue, but I'd included depopulation as one of their backbone goals. Then again, this may be just propaganda so we think, "Oh! Maybe they ARE sincere. Maybe this isn't an ulterior motive behind climate change fascism."

Ireland's Strict Abortion Laws Challenged In European Court

Ireland is a deeply Catholic country, known for its stringent laws restricting abortion, which essentially make it impossible for a woman to have the procedure unless her life is in danger. But now these laws are being challenged, not in Ireland itself, but in the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. The three plaintiffs are Irish women who have all traveled to Britain to have abortions. They say that the effective ban on abortion in Ireland violates the European Convention on Human Rights.

Almost 140,000 Irish women have traveled to Britain over the past 30 years to have abortions; currently, 6,000 women are estimated to leave the country each year for the procedure. And the illegality of abortion is deeply entrenched in Irish law, which dates from 1861. In 1983, the Irish constitution was amended to state explicitly that life begins at conception. This is the first challenge to Irish abortion law in over 15 years.

At the height of the 2008 Presidential campaign, I recall passing neighbors' houses adorned with Obama signs.

I remember my anger and confusion. Thinking to myself, "how could any rational, educated person support a man who has no executive experience? Who worked with the Democrat Socialists of America? Who represented ACORN as an attorney? ACORN! The antithesis of all things American, undermining the integrity of our very voting system!

Therefore, I have prepared the following yard signs for insertion into those very same neighbors' lawns. Perhaps at 04:00 hours, when human consciousness is at its nadir.

Just insert the signs, below, into their front yards to express your gratitude for their votes.

In this way, you can show your sincere appreciation for their act of voting us into a depression. For voting in favor of an economic catastrophe.

They'll thank you later. Perhaps when you're working, side-by-side, in the rice fields.

clipper's remarks: To make the case for gay marriage, protests are counterproductive, persuasion is what’s necessary. Proposition 8 won because we, and I say "we" because I am part of the gay community, failed to make the case why gay marriage is good for society. The gay community needs NEW LEADERS for Christ's sake. We don't need useless morons like Perez Hilton and Adam Lambert opening up their mouths and spewing stupid nonsense. You don't make progress by screaming and yelling at the other side.

We should see a housecleaning at gay organizations and the selection of new leaders who refuse to demonize social conservatives, but seek to persuade them instead. Angry protests from the lot of vicious queens is useless. And until they wake up and understand this, forget about it.

After a year that saw laws allowing same-sex marriage expand from a lonely toehold in Massachusetts to five other states and, likely, the District of Columbia, the defeats have served at the least as a reality check to proponents of gay marriage.

A Maine referendum that was seen as the best chance for popular approval of same-sex marriage instead was soundly defeated. The state senate in liberal New York voted down a marriage bill by a margin - 38 to 24 - that stunned advocates and the state’s governor, who had predicted victory. And a same-sex marriage measure limped to the floor of the New Jersey state senate Thursday after squeaking out of committee over the opposition of prominent Democrats.

Just about everyone has tried some kind of drugs in their life. Consuming drugs at the weekends, or even taking some drugs at home every day has unfortunately become something very normal. Although drugs can help you to loose shyness and fear and feel free at parties regarding sexual behaviour, they have a real negative influence. Also, the stimulating effects of drugs have their limits and each kind of drug abuse can put you straight on the highway to hell. So, be aware of that!

Marihuana, cocaine, hashish, amphetamines, heroin, ecstasy, alcohol…the list of different types of drugs is already known, but not so the negative effects they have on our sex life. First you smoke a joint and have a beer in a relaxing atmosphere at home, then you go for some drinks with your friends in a pub and later you’ll end up in a club or a discotheque.

Love at first sight - utopia or reality

How would our life be without the most beautiful thing of the world, love? Well, it would be very sad and boring. Each one of us has surely had this special feeling of butterflies in the stomach; suddenly your legs are shaking and you can’t avoid this silly look you have on your face, neither can you stop looking or staring at this fascinating person who has just come through the door. As you can see, love at the first sight can really stream through your body within seconds. How is it possible to fall in love so fast with someone whose character we don’t even really know? Love at first sight: utopia or reality?

But where does this feeling of ‘that’s the right one’ come from? How can we be so sure about having found the great love of our life? Or was it really Cupid’s love arrows? In this case, scientists don’t spoil our romanticism and support our theory with studies and analysis.

Obama Steals Bush’s Speechwriters

If you closed your eyes during much of the President’s speech on Afghanistan Tuesday night and just listened to the words, you easily could have concluded that George W. Bush was still in the Oval Office.

Or, at the very least, that Obama had stolen his speechwriters.

The Only Thing Missing is "V for Vendetta" Masks

men were arrested yesterday for trying to re-paint a bike lane on a 14-block stretch on Bedford avenue in Brooklyn. The bike lane was recently removed by the city because of complaints by some local groups (the usual stuff about having fewer parkings and "hurting local businesses"). The unknown men made a video (see below) of them doing their guerilla bike safety civil disobedience

The video contains a manifesto that explains that bike lanes are there for safety, and that the removal of the Bedford bike lane won't keep cyclists from using that route since it leads to the Williamsburg bridge. All that it's going to do is make it more dangerous for cyclists.

They conclude with this warning for the city: "Do not try to remove [bike lanes], or we will put them back for our own safety."

In 1953, eight years before his farewell address and in front of the American Society of Newspaper Editors, President Dwight Eisenhower cautioned his listeners about a "cross of iron."(1) He believed the potential for a just and peaceful post World War Two society was being squandered by the Cold War and Arms Race. President Eisenhower claimed, "Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed."(2) He also warned nations about maintaining powerful militaries and producing enormous weapons systems. He alleged they were "spending the sweat of their laborers, the genius of their scientists, and the hopes of their children." President Eisenhower then said, "This is not a way of life at all...it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron."(3)

Last week, President Barack Obama announced plans to send 34,000 more troops to Afghanistan.

The idea that fewer than 1 percent of Americans are being called on to fight in Afghanistan and Iraq and that we’re sending them into combat again and again and again — for three tours, four tours, five tours, six tours — is obscene. All decent people should object.

The air is filled with obsessive self-satisfied rhetoric about supporting the troops, giving them everything they need and not letting them down. But that rhetoric is as hollow as a jazzman’s drum because the overwhelming majority of Americans have no desire at all to share in the sacrifices that the service members and their families are making. Most Americans do not want to serve in the wars, do not want to give up their precious time to do volunteer work that would aid the nation’s warriors and their families, do not even want to fork over the taxes that are needed to pay for the wars.

After a botched attempt to execute a prisoner in the US state of Ohio in September caused international outrage, you might have thought Ohio would hesitate before pressing ahead with another execution. Not a bit of it.

The US state that condemned Edinburgh's Kenny Richey to die and came desperately close to killing him is unfazed that its prison staff subjected an inmate called Romell Broom to a two-hour ordeal where they repeatedly shoved a lethal injection needle into various parts of his body – thigh, ankle, feet, muscles and bone. They've done it again, only this time piloting a new lethal injection on a death row inmate called Kenneth Biros, someone I've written to for many years.

The "inconvenient truth" overhanging the UN's Copenhagen conference is not that the climate is warming or cooling, but that humans are overpopulating the world.

A planetary law, such as China's one-child policy, is the only way to reverse the disastrous global birthrate currently, which is one million births every four days.

The world's other species, vegetation, resources, oceans, arable land, water supplies and atmosphere are being destroyed and pushed out of existence as a result of humanity's soaring reproduction rate.

Ironically, China, despite its dirty coal plants, is the world's leader in terms of fashioning policy to combat environmental degradation, thanks to its one-child-only edict.
