As mentioned earlier, the Moonbat Messiah has proclaimed:

We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. Via these lesson plans, high school teachers can use this collaborative grassroots simulation to engage students with questions about energy use, sustainability, the role energy plays in our economy, culture, worldview and history, and many others.

World Without Oil was an alternate reality game – when submitting their stories, its players pretended the oil crisis was really happening. We encourage teachers to do the same: to get "in game" and act to make the crisis seem real. Each day your students will immerse themselves in an exploration of a World Without Oil, and prepare their own "in-game" stories that they can contribute to the WWO online archive.

Tags: politics, bush, environment, oil

<clipSource>http://www.worldwithoutoil.org/metateachers.htm</clipSource>

Download Quantum of Solace

clipped by: smallwonder123
clipper's remarks: .‘Quantum of Solace’ continues the high octane adventures of James Bond from ‘Casino Royale’. Larson’s firm is the same one that launched the scurrilous robocalls against John McCain in 2000, and that McCain has now hired to make robocalls connecting Barack Obama to Bill Ayers.

Tags: 2008 election, politics, usa

<clipSource>http://www.theatlantic.com/doc/200810u/palin-clothes</clipSource>

Poppy Day Hallucinations

clipped by: LillianL
clipper's remarks: A light-hearted thought on this somber day.

Clip Source: mindvisualization.com

in honor of Poppy Day that is observed on November 11th in the U.S. but is referred to as Veteran’s Day. A promise of change. Now, we wait...

Obama was elected and that gives great hope, but the problems still remain. Unjust greed-driven wars, torture, economic turmoil etc. There is still a lot of anger out there, so please don't blow it, America. DAMASCUS - The United States raid on Syria on October 27, which led to the
killing of eight civilians, sent shockwaves throughout Iraq, mainly enraging
the Sunni community, former Ba'athists and tribal leaders who are pro-Syrian.

It came as such a surprise to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki that he was

The combination of immunity from prosecution and unfettered personal power underpins many of the most infamous corruption cases involving politicians.
