Bullies bully because they CAN!

The rest of us get out of their way, cowering in fear. The bully's bosses have fallen for her or his ingratiation (butt kissing) tactics over the years and support the bully when exposed. And they will continue until we slap them down and say "enough is enough!" This will have to be done by a compassionate, unified and courageous groups of co-workers, enlightened employers who finally realize just how expensive is the care and feeding of bullies, or society that passes laws to declare its unacceptability.

Geronimo's family call on Bush to help return his skeleton

The great grandson of the Apache leader Geronimo has appealed to the big chief in the White House to help recover the remains of his famous relative - purportedly stolen more than 90 years ago by a group of students - including the President's grandfather.

The students - among them, Mr Bush's grandfather Prescott - apparently returned with the remains and kept them in their society's headquarters at the university in New Haven, Connecticut. The society's initiation rite reportedly involves kissing a skull, referred to as "Geronimo", usually held in a glass case.

The letter from society member Winter Mead to fellow member F Trubee Davison, made public earlier this month, said: "The skull of the worthy Geronimo the Terrible, exhumed from its tomb at Fort Sill by your club... is now safe inside the [tomb] together with his well worn femurs, bit and saddle horn."

Kissing Balance (Insanity #348)

I have to kiss in equal parts. If i spend x amount of time kissing one side of a woman's face, I then have to by some decree spend that amount of time equally on the other side. Its some cosmic fairness principal. It annoys me to only half-do the one side. Weird. I'm keeping up with the balance in my mind. Its OCD I swear. but since its an internal thing no one seems to notice or mind.

toilet sharks (Insanity #360)

i have a weird fear of sharks coming up the toilet, i know that this is virtually impossible but maybe just by chance it happens, im stuck and there is a shark in my toilet, scary.

Edvard Munch's "Vampire," a dark, brooding painting of a woman with cascading red hair kissing a man's neck, may set a new record for the Norwegian artist when it goes on the auction block this fall.

The 1894 work, which has been in private hands for more than 70 years, is expected to bring $35 million at Sotheby's on Nov. 3. In May, Munch's "Girls on the Bridge" sold for $30.8 million, setting a record for the artist.

The "Vampire" painting, also known as "Love and Pain," caused a stir when it was first exhibited in Berlin in 1902. It was part of a 20-work project called Frieze of Life that explored themes of love, betrayal, death and sex and included his masterpiece, "The Scream."

"Like 'The Scream,' it distills extraordinarily intense feelings," Simon Shaw, head of Sotheby's impressionist and modern art, said Tuesday. "The lovers, locked in their dark embrace, evoke love's paradox as a source of tenderness and pain."

They use kissing as a way of assessing the recipient as a potential partner, and later to maintain intimacy and to check the status of a relationship.

The questionnaires revealed men were less discriminating when it came to deciding who to kiss or who to have sex with.

They were more willing to have sex with someone without kissing, to have sex with someone they are not attracted to and agree to have sex with someone they considered to be a bad kisser.

There was also a difference in the sort of kisses the two sexes preferred, with men liking wet, tongue kisses.

"But the fact is women are more discriminatory than men. Men can just go out and spread their seed, but women have to take more responsibility because of the consequences and so they are likely to want to test more."

You know you've made it big when others start making covers of your songs. But this remix is a bit different.

It seems that the people at a church in Blacklick, Ohio, aren't too thrilled with Katy Perry's catchy I Kissed A Girl song.

So…..they've decided to change it up a bit.

The Havens Corners Church now has a sign outside with the new lyrics they've added to the song.

It says, "I kissed a girl and I liked it" and adds, "Then I went to hell."

The church pastor, Rev. Dave Allison, says that the sign is intended as "a loving warning to teens" since the Bible states that homosexuality is a sin.

He did admit that the sign has confused some people who don't know the song or get the message.

Guess Katy isn't that big in Ohio.

Women jailed for 'indecent' beach acts

TWO foreign women have been jailed for a month for kissing and fondling each other and engaging in "indecent acts" on a public beach in Dubai.

The Dubai Court of Appeal upheld the one-month jail sentence handed down by a lower court to the women, a 30-year-old Lebanese national and a 36-year-old Bulgarian who both pleaded not guilty, 7Days newspaper said.

They will be deported after serving their sentences.
