Increasing your level of comfort makes it easier for you to relax and sleep, so you get a better night's kip. The resulting deeper, longer sleep makes it easier for your body to regenerate and repair itself, and build up your energy for the day ahead.

Sexual benefits

If you sleep with a partner, being naked heightens the level of intimacy between you, and you are likely to have sex more often. You may also feel closer to your partner as a result of sleeping naked with them

Work and lifestyle benefits

If you find yourself tired in the morning or during the day even though you've had at-least eight hours sleep, you may only be sleeping lightly for that period of time. As mentioned earlier, sleeping naked allows your body to relax more immediately, and you are more likely to fall into a deeper sleep more quickly and wake up refreshed.

Tags: sleep, health, relationships

<clipSource>http://sleepnaked.org/</clipSource>

Medical & Health Tourism Destinations, Best International Hospitals, Surgery Abroad – Surgery Planet

clipped by: alishafedrix
clipper's remarks: Surgery Planet provides first class medical tourism services for patients at major internationally accredited hospitals in India, Singapore, Thailand, Dubai, Costa Rica, Mexico and other destinations at low cost.

Clip Source: www.surgeryplanet.com

Tags: medical tourism, medical tourism destinations, medical tourism destination, health tourism, health tourism destinations

<clipSource>http://www.surgeryplanet.com/destinations/</clipSource>

Unequal Power Unequal Access

clipped by: Kelika

Clip Source: news.yahoo.com

"If women are denied a chance to develop their full human potential, including their potential to lead healthier and at least somewhat happier lives, is society as a whole really healthy? But really. "We will not see significant progress as long as women are regarded as second-class citizens in so many parts of the world," Dr Chan said. Clinics were forced to shut down due to lack of supplies, and people who really should have gotten the vaccine first (like young children, pregnant mothers and seniors) lost out.

H1N1 Influenza is a mere fraction of the virility of normal seasonal 'flu, and has fewer serious cases and deaths than seasonal 'flu. The normal, sensible steps you take to avoid getting the 'flu every year will work as well for H1N1. Yes, it looks serious when the media focuses on individual deaths from H1N1, but such coverage is deceptive. A few hundred deaths, Canada-side from H1N1 is tragic, but seasonal 'flu will claim several thousand, as it does every year. Just keep some perspective.

Be aware; be mindful, but don't be scared. STEFFIE WOOLHANDLER: Right. Well, the private insurers are getting millions of mandatory new customers. The taxpayers are going to give subsidies. It’s not going to make healthcare affordable, but it’s going to cost the taxpayers a lot of money to give these subsidies.

Private health insurance is a defective product. We know from our studies of bankruptcy that the majority of Americans who face medical bankruptcy start their illness with private health insurance but are bankrupted anyway by gaps in coverage, like co-payments, deductibles and uncovered services.

Clip Source: www.democracynow.org

Study: Over 2,200 US Veterans Died in 2008 Due to Lack of Health Insurance

Dr. Steffie Woolhandler,

DR. STEFFIE WOOLHANDLER: Well, we think that the Congress needs to start from scratch on this bill. The reform process in Washington has been hijacked by the private health insurance industry. If you look at the Baucus framework, which was the basis of the Senate bill—it’s on the Senate Finance Committee website. Just right-click on that document, and it turns out the author of the document was Elizabeth Fowler, who’s a former vice president of Wellpoint, the nation’s largest private insurance company, covering 35 million people. So the private insurance industry has hijacked the process. What’s come out of the House, what’s likely to come out of the Senate, is a completely inadequate bill that takes about $500 billion in taxpayer money and hands it over to the private health insurance industry.

Private property rights are trampled, the government thinks it can tell you to buy something or face jail and/or tax penalties.

This also then means every American's private and personal health information will be put into a data-base system, the end of privacy. Your health care, and body, will belong to the Collectivist Society now and the Government, which will no doubt link this to your National ID Card (REAL ID and PASS ID system)--increasing the Electronic Leash on "free" Americans.

Clip Source: drudgereport.com

SNEAKY PELOSI: PASSED ON A SATURDAY NIGHT

Clip Source: apnews.myway.com

House narrowly passes landmark health care bill

The 220-215 vote cleared the way for the Senate to begin debate on the issue that has come to overshadow all others in Congress.

Republican opposition was nearly unanimous.

A triumphant Speaker Nancy Pelosi likened the legislation to the passage of Social Security in 1935 and Medicare 30 years later.

In the run-up to a final vote, conservatives from the two political parties joined forces to impose tough new restrictions on abortion coverage in insurance policies to be sold to many individuals and small groups. They prevailed on a roll call of 240-194.

Ironically, that only solidified support for the legislation, clearing the way for conservative Democrats to vote for it.

The legislation would require most Americans to carry insurance and provide federal subsidies to those who otherwise could not afford it. Large companies would have to offer coverage to their employees.

Tags: health care, congress, obama, mandatory health insurance

<clipSource>http://drudgereport.com/</clipSource>

Dems Rejected 11 Amendments Requiring Congress to Enroll in same Health Plan

clipped by: jatfla
clipper's remarks: The Lords & Ladies of Congress are exempt from the sorry bill they are thrusting us under. Critics of the health care bill said they offered the 11 amendments – including some that would require the president, vice president, and Supreme Court justices to give up their Federal Employees Health Benefit Program (FEHBP) to enroll in the ‘public option’ or Medicaid – to showcase the problems with the massive legislation.

“If Congress forces our constituents into a public option plan over time, then members of Congress should be expected to do the same,” Rep. The results are quite sobering. The study shows that "between 2010 and 2019 the cumulative increases in the cost of a typical family policy under this reform proposal will be approximately $20,700 more than it would be under the current system." None of the bills being debated in Congress call for such a single-payer system.

But Republicans are still recycling "government-run" claims

Boehner told Fox News that the revised House bill is "nothing short of a complete government takeover of our health care system." What an incredible juxtaposition it was — meeting and talking with the true agents of Hope and Change, the true guardians of innocent life, and the true advocates for women and children outside the Beltway as the Democrat majority inside the Beltway rammed the massive, job-killing, high-taxing, bureaucracy-multiplying, generational debt-piling health care monstrosity down America’s throat.

One Republican voted for Pelosicare: GOP Rep. Anh (Joseph) Cao of Louisiana.

Yes, he’s the one who took over corruptocrat Democrat William Jefferson’s seat.

I had reservations about him on election night because of his soft-on-immigration views.

Tags: 0bama hustling taxpayer $$$, gop rep. joseph cao, health care, organizing for america, pelosi/0bamacare

<clipSource>http://michellemalkin.com/</clipSource>
