People assume that beef found to be contaminated with E. coli must be thrown out or destroyed (or even recalled), but in reality, it's often just pressed into hamburger patties, cooked, and sold to consumers. This practice is openly endorsed by the USDA.

But E. coli may not be the worst thing in your burger: USDA regulations also allow chicken feces to be used as feed for cows, meaning your hamburger beef may be made of second-hand chicken poop, recycled through the stomachs of cows.

Now, you might wonder how chicken feces could pose a mad cow infection risk to cows. And if you're not already grossed out by what you've read so far, you will be when you read the answer to this question: It's because chickens are fed ground up parts of other animals such as cows, sheep and other animals. Some of that chicken feed spills out and gets swept up as chicken litter, then fed to cows.

Tags: health, burgers

<clipSource>http://www.naturalnews.com/027414_disease_cows_mad_cow.html</clipSource>

Cows EAT Chicken "Poop"...makesya Burgers TASTY

clipped by: leevardi

Clip Source: mail.google.com

Dear NaturalNews readers,

Hungry for a burger? MOUNT HOLLY, NJ -- A former police officer accused of having a moonlight tryst with a group of cows will not be facing animal cruelty charges after all.

As it turns out bestiality is not a crime in New Jersey.

Former Moorestown police officer Robert Melia Jr. was charged last year with sexually assaulting three girls.

During the investigation, police say they found a video in the man's home that showed him sexually molesting cows.

According to prosecutors, Melia Jr. dropped his trousers and let the animals taste his genitals on a Southhampton farm in 2006.

Superior Court Judge ruled Wednesday that prosecutors failed to present sufficient evidence to jurors that proved that Melia's alleged actions in fact tormented the cows.

"I'm not saying it's okay," Judge Morley said in court after dismissing the charges.

"This is a legal question for me. It's not a question of morals."

Melia and former girlfriend Heather Lewis remain charged with molesting the three girls.

People will need to turn vegetarian if the world is to conquer climate change,
according to a leading authority on global warming.

In an interview
with The Times, Lord Stern of Brentford said: “Meat is a wasteful use of
water and creates a lot of greenhouse gases. It puts enormous pressure on
the world’s resources. A vegetarian diet is better.”

Direct emissions of methane from cows and pigs is a significant source of
greenhouse gases. Methane is 23 times more powerful than carbon dioxide as a
global warming gas.

Monsanto also doesn't tell consumers that rBGH injected cows produce extremely high levels of Insulin Growth Factor -1 (IGH-1), a cancer promoter that occurs naturally in the human bloodstream at levels that generally do not result in tumors. Monsanto and the FDA refuse to acknowledge research directly linking elevated levels of IGF-1 to increased risk of breast and prostate cancer. To make matters worse, Monsanto and the FDA colluded in '93 and '94 to block labeling requirements for rBGH milk (even today Monsanto and the FDA block labeling of genetically engineered food). So, the average dairy consumer has no idea that they are increasing their own risk of getting cancer.

<clipSource>http://www.naturalnews.com/027319_Monsanto_BGH_rBGH.html</clipSource>

New Seven Layer Whopper! Can You Handle it?

clipped by: katsteevns
clipper's remarks: This Windows 7 Whopper might be estimated at five times larger than a typical quarter pounder. Thus, if you do the math, this 7-layered Whopper could be using 7,000 gallons of water to produce (give or take, depending on the size of the patties). In a world running out of fresh water supplies (fossil water), that's a huge quantity to plow through in one meal.

Clip Source: www.naturalnews.com

According to the Water Education Foundation, a quarter-pound hamburger requires roughly 1,300 gallons of fresh water to produce (by the time you factor in all the water the cows drink, the water for the crops fed to cows, etc.).

<clipSource>http://www.naturalnews.com/027314_Whopper_beef_water.html</clipSource>

Steak

clipped by: Vinyl Hippo

Clip Source: bash.org

<SaxxonPike> mmm, steak
In Kenya, the Masai, a nomadic tribe who raise cattle, cherish three things: their children, their land, and their cows. On September 11, 2001 they did not know what had happened in America. In fact, they did not know until June 2002 when Kimeli Naiyomah, a pre-med student at Stanford University, returned to visit his tribe in Kenya. The young elder, 25 years old, gathered his tribe and told the story of airplanes used as bombs crashing into tall buildings that reached the clouds, huge fires, people jumping to their deaths, heroes risking their own lives to save as many as possible, and finally, the tall buildings falling to the ground below.

The Masai were shaken, saddened, and angered by what they heard. Losing 3,000 people at once would eliminate their entire tribe. They wanted to do something to help. The Masai were able to collect 14 cows from their tribesmen to give to the United States.

PLEASE VISIT 14 COWS BLOG (click here)

AND 14 COWS FACEBOOK (click here)

<clipSource>http://www.meeshka.net/COWS/COWHOME.htm</clipSource>

Alien Abduction Lamp

clipped by: thisnamecantbetaken
clipper's remarks: Just what I always wanted...

Here's another prototype, not yet available:

http://www.slipperybrick.com/2009/03/alien-abduction-lamp/

It must be a government conspiracy that it hasn’t been released yet.
Gotta luv it. .

Clip Source: www.slipperybrick.com

Alien Abduction Lamp released

This lamp has been a long time coming and we’ve been waiting patiently for our chance to see cows in mid-abduction. It has finally gone from prototype to reality. You gotta love the aliens peering out of the UFO windows.

This final version of the lamp features LEDs that light up the alien cockpit, and a steel retro spacecraft over an illuminated tractor beam. You can have the light always on or a pulse lighting effect behind the windows. When you turn the lights off, the aliens glow in the dark.

And yes, it comes with a plastic cow.

<clipSource>http://www.slipperybrick.com/2009/10/alien-abduction-lamp-released/</clipSource>

Cows with guns

clipped by: Socratoad

Clip Source: www.youtube.com

<clipSource>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQMbXvn2RNI</clipSource>
