The Democrats' all-new "opt out" idea for health care reform is the latest fig leaf for a total government takeover of the health care system.

Democrats tell us they've been trying to nationalize health care for 65 years, but the first anyone heard of the "opt out" provision was about a week ago. They keep changing the language so people can't figure out what's going on.

The most important fact about the "opt out" scheme allegedly allowing states to decline government health insurance is that a state can't "opt out" of paying for it. All 50 states will pay for it. A state legislature can only opt out of allowing its own citizens to receive the benefits of a federal program they're paying for.

Sean Hannity still wants his scalp. So he went and got the world's most famous harpy to help out.

He continued his groundless bashing of Kevin Jennings by bringing on Ann Coulter on his show last night. The hapless Kirsten Powers was little help, being a good Faux Democrat by largely agreeing with the venomous duo -- when all she needed to do was point out that the incident involved a young man of legal age.

This largely left Hannity free to find great import in the fact that William Ayers -- another longtime Hannity freakazoid obsession -- actually wrote a blurb for a book for which Jennings wrote the forward. Oooooh. Impressive. Pretty soon he's going to be doing diagrams on chalkboards.

And it left Coulter free to declare Jennings "another Ayers." And natter on about how depraved a person Jennings is.

But of course, they stopped short when reminded that what they were saying sounded a lot like gay-bashing. Heaven forfend the notion.

I'm trying to get to the next installment of my Pulitzer Prize-deserving series on liberal lies about national health care, but apparently liberals have decided to torture us by neurotically fixating on one lie.

After President Barack Obama gave a speech to a joint session of Congress last week passionately defending his national health care plan, the Democrats were agog at the brilliance of the speech. Nancy Pelosi was so thrilled, her expression almost changed.

But as Obama ticked off one demonstrably false claim after another -- eliciting 37 standing ovations from the Democrats in the audience -- America's greatest living statesman, Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C., yelled out, "You lie!" in response to Obama's claim that the bill will not cover illegal aliens.

There are a number of theories about why America's greatest living statesman shouted "You lie!" at that juncture, but mine is that Wilson said it because Obama told a big, fat stinking lie.

Alien Creature Calls Ann Coulter Mama

The flames apparently had a far higher temperature than in a normal fire!

Now there are rumours that the parents of the creature Lopez drowned were the ones who in turn killed him out of revenge.

There are frequent UFO sightings and reports of crop circles in the area where the creature was found. Perhaps it was left behind deliberately by aliens.

Mexican UFO expert Jaime Maussan (56) was the first to break the story. He claimed it was not a hoax. Farmers also told him that there was a second creature but it ran away when they approached.

The puzzle has caused intrigue amongst BILD’s readers. Some say it is a mutant, others wonder why aliens would leave a baby behind - and one reader asked why aliens don’t wear clothes.

And the bizarre story has reached as far as South Korea and China!

IS this bizarre creature really an alien baby or just part of an elaborate hoax - and was it the cause of a mysterious revenge death?

Mexican TV revealed the almost unbelievable story - in 2007, a baby 'alien' was found alive by a farmer in Mexico.

He drowned it in a ditch out of fear, and now two years later scientists have finally been able to announce the results of their tests on this sinister-looking carcass.

At the end of last year the farmer, Marao Lopez, handed the corpse over to university scientists who carried out DNA tests and scans.

He claimed that it took him three attempts to drown the creature and he had to hold it underwater for hours.

Tests revealed a creature that is unknown to scientists - its skeleton has characteristics of a lizard, its teeth do not have any roots like humans and it can stay underwater for a long time.

But it also has some similar joints to humans.

But it has seemingly left experts stumped.

And in a further mystery, Lopez has since mysteriously died.

The most salient trait of the left is hypocrisy. To paraphrase Ann Coulter, if you want to know what liberals are up to, just listen to what they're accusing you of. The preposterous charge that those who object to Obama's seizure of the healthcare industry are astroturfers sheds light on how blatantly progressives manufacture protest. If you have more time than you do principles, check out the many job listings for professional moonbat placard-wavers.

Nobody is going to pay you to protest against ObamaCare. But considering that patriots have vastly outnumbered leftist drones at Town Hall meetings lately, it looks like most people consider doing the right thing to be its own reward.

Fromme made headlines Monday by announcing her engagement to pundit Ann Coulter who is her legal sponsor and who she resides with while in the parole system. A November wedding is planned in San Francisco so Fromme can grab a quick visit with Charlie.

Coulter surprised many fans by accepting the former cultist and Manson follower. but assured those interested that it was only because they both were single, lonely, and seeking some adventure.

Recent parolee, Squeaky Fromme, set to marry conservative Ann Coulter after whirlwind courtship!

Lynette 'Squeaky' Fromme, the last vestige of the notorious hippy murder commune of Charles Manson, was released on parole from a Texas federal prison after serving 30 years of a life sentence.

Squeaky Fromme today. She claims her haggard look was from 'all those drugs 'n thugs' way back in the sixties.

Fromme was convicted of the 1975 attempted murder of then President Gerald Ford. She tried to shoot him with an empty automatic pistol, but was arrested before she could re-load. Fromme was the last disciple of hippy guru and murderer Charles Manson aka Jesus Christ.

Manson is serving his 40th year in confinement for the murders of actress Sharon Tate and five others. Manson is 74 years old and has been up for parole at least 10 times. Each time he is denied.

I didn’t listen to the Press Conference because I simply can’t stand to look at the guy, but I followed commentary on AoSHQ, NRO, GatewayPundit, Michelle Malkin, and couple of other blogs. Here’s what I know:

Obama accused doctors of being greedy and performing unnecessary tonsillectomies just to get money. (This speaks more of his personal character than it does of the doctors; a thief always suspects others of plotting to steal from him.)

Obama attacked Republicans, then, a few seconds later, denied he had ever attacked Republicans.

Obama claimed his plan will save money by eliminating tests the government deems unnecessary. (ObamaCare bureaucrat on the phone with doctor: “I am sick of hearing about ‘malignant’ this and ‘emergency surgery’ that. Just give the kid some Tylenol and stop bothering me.”)

Obama closed with, “I don’t know anything about the Louis Gates incident, but Cambridge cops are stupid.” (Again, speaks to his lack of character and discernment.)

I am heartbroken.

Only this morning, as a comment to this post at GM's Place about the ongoing campaign to destroy Sarah Palin, I had this to say:

Hatred can have many geneses. Palin-hatred might partake of several.

First, there's Governor Palin's exceedingly "conventional" home life, in which she's happy and stable. Quite a lot of people will never know such a life. They envy it in the Ayn Rand sense: "hatred of the good for being the good." The syndrome afflicts left-liberals disproportionately.

Then there's Palin's extraordinary beauty and grace. It's been said, with some justice, that politics is celebrity for ugly people; there's certainly quite a lot of ugliness on the Left. It's also been said, by P. J. O'Rourke and Ann Coulter among others, that the beautiful women are the most reliable indicators of political trends -- and the beautiful women are trending to the Right. That has to sting the vitriolic harpies on the Left.

If these influential voices are not enough, consider today's bankrupt culture, in which women any verb that is not "gestate" and men any verb that is not "hunt," "conquer," or "bludgeon."
