clipper's remarks: I clipped this mostly because of the comment made by the French coach. How can he compliment Materazzi for behaving like such an ass!? Is this what we want kids to learn from their idols? That you should do whatever you have to do to win the game, even if it means saying such horrible things to someone. I hope not.

Adults really need to start acting in a way that sets a better example for kids.

MILAN, Italy -- Italy defender Marco Materazzi finally disclosed what he said to Zinedine Zidane in the World Cup final that provoked the French star to retaliate with a head-butt.

"I prefer the whore that is your sister," Materazzi said during an interview in next week's edition of Italian magazine TV Sorrisi E Canzoni, according to Italian news reports Saturday.

France coach Raymond Domenech this month lauded Materazzi's strategy for getting Zidane sent off.

"I say 'bravo' to him," the coach said.

clipper's remarks: Like with 'IBM Verichip' this seems to be an attempt to introduce 'Organic Tracking Cookies'. All they have to do is convince people they are safe, or introduce them in a way that will not bother people (Like when they are unconscious, or offline) Soldiers, maybe, but when they talk about injecting them into trauma victims, they don't mention any approval by patients. Will it be left to the discretion of the treating physician ? Will they be obliged to tell the patient ? Will they consider the ignorance of the patient to be in the best interests of the patient, and the health system. Not long ago these might have seemed stupid questions "What is there to doubt" Surely we can trust the pentagon.They won't need an electoral roll, they'll have a catalog. Whoever gets the contract is going to make a fortune.

The Department of Defense has awarded $1.6 million to the Center for Bioelectronics, Biosensors and Biochips (C3B) at Clemson University for the development of an implantable biochip that could relay vital health information if a soldier is wounded in battle or a civilian is hurt in an accident.

The biochip, about the size of a grain of rice, could measure and relay such information as lactate and glucose levels in the event of a major hemorrhage

Anthony Guiseppi-Elie, C3B director and Dow Chemical Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and professor of bioengineering says first responders to the trauma scene could inject the biochip into the wounded victim and gather data almost immediately.

getting vital information such as how much oxygen is in the tissue back to ER physicians and medical personnel can often mean the difference between life and death,

The biochip also may be injected as a precaution to future traumas
