THE Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.

Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

Swearing at work helps employees cope with stress, academics at a Norfolk university have said.

A study by Norwich's University of East Anglia (UEA) into leadership styles found the use of "taboo language" boosted team spirit.

Professor Yehuda Baruch, professor of management, warned that attempts to prevent workers from swearing could have a negative impact.

But Professor Baruch discouraged swearing in front of customers.

'Maintaining solidarity'

He said: "In most scenarios, in particular in the presence of customers or senior staff, profanity must be seriously discouraged or banned.

"However, our study suggested that, in many cases, taboo language serves the needs of people for developing and maintaining solidarity, and as a mechanism to cope with stress. Banning it could backfire.

With his paws spread wide and taking a step up on to a cup of tea, this little piggy tries desperately hard to make himself big and strong.

But there's no getting away from the fact that he is still no bigger than a tea cup.

Tetley the miniature pig is the smallest of a litter of eight piglets born to his mum, Poppy Two Socks.

After several false pregnancies the miniature pig gave birth to her brood at Pennywell Farm in Buckfastleigh, Devon.

And Tetley, clearly keen on a cuppa himself, has grown no taller than three inches high and five inches long.

Pennywell miniature pigs are bred from a range of old English strains and grow no bigger than the size of a cocker spaniel.

Most of the litter will be sold as pets with the others kept at the farm for future breeding.

Pennywell owner Chris Murray said "Tetley is the star of the farmyard."

Names of the Sea

Lowest Point

The Dead Sea is located in the Syro-African Rift, a 4000-mile fault line in the earth's crust. The lowest point of dry land on earth is the shoreline of the Dead Sea at 1300 feet below sea level. That the lake is at the lowest point means that water does not drain from this lake. Daily 7 million tons of water evaporate but the minerals remain, causing the salt content to increase. Figures for the Dead Sea's salinity today range from 26-35%.

LONDON — A "perfect storm" of drought, conflict and rising costs has increased the ranks of the chronically hungry by millions of people, and forced aid workers to find and fund longer-term solutions to the food crisis.

The United Nations says the number of chronically hungry people worldwide rises by an average of 4 million each year.

At the same time global fuel prices have soared, pushing up road transport costs and global maritime shipping rates.

The UN's World Food Program says the cost of cereals has risen 50 per cent over the past five years, which experts say is due to the world's growing population — particularly in non-food producing urban areas — combined with bad harvests and an increased demand for cereal products in previously rice-eating India and China.

Scientists exploring a deep ocean basin in search of species isolated for millions of years found marine life believed to be previously undiscovered, including a tentacled orange worm and an unusual black jellyfish.

Project leader Dr. Larry Madin said Tuesday that U.S. and Philippine scientists collected about 100 different specimens in a search in the Celebes Sea south of the Philippines.

Madin, of the Massachusetts-based Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, said the sea is at the heart of the "coral triangle" bordered by the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia -- a region recognized by scientists as having a high degree of biological

diversity.

The deepest part of the Celebes Sea is 16,500 feet. The team was able to explore to a depth of about 9,100 feet using a remotely operated camera.

"This is probably the center where many of the species evolved and spread to other parts of the ocean, so it's going back to the source in many ways,"
