Appearing in front of about 6,000 gun rights activists, Huckabee's speech was interrupted by a loud noise. The former Arkansas governor said, "That was Barack Obama. He just tripped off a chair. He's getting ready to speak and somebody aimed a gun at him and he -- he dove for the floor."

The comment was immediately noted on news websites and by bloggers who found the crack about Obama getting shot at inappropriate. Obama's campaign had no comment, as it was engaged in a heated back-and-forth with both President Bush and Sen. John McCain -- the presumptive Republican nominee -- over Obama's fitness to be commander

in chief

Huckabee provided most of the humor in the 2008 Republican primaries, cracking jokes during several of the debates. He won the Iowa caucuses but failed to reach far beyond the evangelical community in states after that.

<clipSource>http://blog.washingtonpost.com/the-trail/2008/05/16/huckabees_obama_joke_falls_fla.html</clipSource>

Ann Coulter - Topless!

clipped by: zizzy

Clip Source: www.huffingtonpost.com

My Wall Street Journal, a parody of the Wall Street Journal on newsstands this week to mark the April 15 tax deadline, has rankled News Corp executives so much that they're trying to make sure no one sees it. In it, the actress' love interest is played by her real-life brother, Christopher Khayman Lee.

And yes, there are kissing scenes. Couple of 'em.

(What? You don't remember Christopher as the red ranger in "Power Rangers in Space"?)

The sibling snogfest seems to have been uncovered first by "Praise Anatomy," a highly entertaining fan vlog about the show. There's extreme poverty, but Egyptians, the ones I know, laugh and joke all the time. They don't dwell on their problems, but instead they work incredibly hard to live as well as they can. For all its problems and inequality, Cairo is one of the best places in the world to live because the people, despite the odds, make it so.

Clip Source: cairolive.com

For whatever reason, I have been singled out and wrongly characterized by the adult world as a "real handful." In fact, nothing could be further from the truth.

Admittedly, my attention span is short, and at times I am easily distracted by colorful and/or animal-shaped stimuli in my immediate environment. But I cannot stress enough the importance of early-childhood self-image formation. (I believe Thomas the Tank Engine has explored this subject in some detail—I'd cite the specific episode but unfortunately I don't have it in front of me at the moment.)

It is the "terrible twos" all over again. A whole year boiled down to being "terrible," despite many notable achievements during those 12 months. I made huge strides in shape recognition and speech acquisition. Plus, need I remind you, I learned to walk while carrying a stuffed animal in my hands.

Tags: humor

<clipSource>http://www.theonion.com/content/opinion/adults_have_misclassified_me_as</clipSource>

Obama Too Black or Black Enough?
