During the scene when Dorothy and Scarecrow are fighting with the trees, Scarecrow says "I'll show you how to get apples" and he gets hit by the apples. The very next scene if you quickly look at Dorothy's shoes, you can see that she is wearing black shoes, not her ruby slippers.

When the stormtroopers break into the control room, the stormtrooper on the right of the screen hits his head on the door frame. On the DVD release they've added a thump when he hits it. THUD! While unintentional, it's still one of the best moments in all the Star Wars films.

In the second half of the film, Frodo has a scar on his lower right cheek, close to his chin. Many times throughout the rest of the film the scar changes position and size on his right cheek. It also appears on his left cheek in flipped shots (most obviously on the slopes of Mount Doom when Sam is cradling his head).

Little Known Facts About Talk-Show Host David Letterman

It's probably not surprising, but, a little known fact about talk-show host David Letterman is that, while he attended Broad Ripple High School in Indianapolis, he was voted "Class Smart Aleck."

Perfect Attendance Record
Before Letterman was forced to take some time off for a quintuple heart bypass surgery on January 14, 2000, he had never missed one day of work in eighteen years for illness.

Romance

Now, the comedian is engaged to Regina Lasko, a woman he used to work with. She's thirteen years his junior. Lasko gave birth to the couple's son, Harry Joseph Letterman on November 3, 2003. "Harry Joseph" is the name of David Letterman's father who died in 1974.

His Long-Time Prop
If you watch David Letterman's "Late Show"on the CBS station, you'll see an archaic RCA DX 77 microphone sitting on his desk. When he left NBC, the crew gave him the mike as a "going away" gift. The microphone isn't used. It only serves as a prop.
