How to Design Mini Icons

Numbers of people have asked me how to design my popular Mini Pixel Icon pack. In fact, they are relatively easy. All you need is just some basic Photoshop skills. Here I will show you how to use the Pencil tool to design pixel icons, and then re-use them to create a full collection. This is the technique that I used to create over 320 icons within a day.

More than half a century ago, Aemelius Müller, professor at the academy of Winterthur, Switzerland, came up with a formula that could predict the appreciation of a color-combination. In other words: Müller was able to predict which combination of colors most people would probably like.

I believe that it isn't necessary to point out the benefits of having a sitemap somewhere on your site. Apart from making sure that all of your pages are linked and indexed, you are providing an overview of your site's structure. That can be very useful to some user trying to find his way around. But, what happens if you have huge sitemap and you don't want to overload your page yet still keep things accessible and "indexable"? Maybe CSSG Sitemap Styler could help.

Internet Explorer 6, released on August 27, 2001, was a package of problems right from the start.
