It turns out that when a global species of six billion animals decides to base their entire society on burning stuff, it affects the environment. Who knew? While effects like the the collapse of the Ross ice shelf is only truly terrifying to those specifically trained to understand the implications, others are less negligible. Certain species of mosquito have undergone genetic shifts to survive, and I'm sorry, but when even the unkillable curse that is the mosquito has to mutate to survive what you've done it's a great big warning sign.

Climate change is not "controversial". Climate change is happening, violently, now, and what are we going to do about it*?
