The technology will combine Novatel's next-gen modules with the CDMA EV-DO Rev A wireless network to connect moving vehicles to the Internet, essentially turning cars into traveling Wi-Fi hotspots. The network exists throughout North America, and can provide a high-speed broadband connection, with speeds similar to a home DSL line, regardless of geographic location. Cars or people up to 100 feet away could even be able to tap into the connection.

I can't answer your question but I can help you diagnose them...this is from DSM-XV, not yet released but I am working on it...I am almost done categorizing the main disorder. Okay here it is:

Diagnostic criteria for NPD: Normal Person Disorder

Evolution of Life was Stalled for 2 Billion Years

A coherent picture of the environmental conditions that led to the evolution of animal life is finally emerging. Scientists say that oxygen deficiency and a lack of the heavy metal molybdenum in the oceans had blocked the evolution of life on Earth for nearly two billion years.

The molybdenum record shows that the second step occurred around 600 million years ago, when the entire ocean became oxygenated, which enabled the rise of multi-cellular life called eukaryotes -- the category that includes plants, humans and other complex creatures.

"These molybdenum depletions may have retarded the development of complex life such as animals for almost two billion years of Earth history," said Timothy Lyons, a professor at University of California Riverside. "The amount of molybdenum in the ocean probably played a major role in the development of life."

Molybdenum levels are also a reliable indicator of oxygen levels in ocean chemistry.

The international community may have as little as a decade to bring greenhouse gases under control or risk catastrophic global warming that places millions of people at risk, warns a group of the world's leading climate scientists.

representatives from about 180 countries are attending a United Nations conference on climate change, the scientists say emissions need to peak and then start to decline within the next 10 to 15 years as a first step, and then be cut in half by 2050 from the level prevailing in 1990.

If releases aren't curbed soon, “millions of people will be at risk from extreme events, such has heat waves, drought, floods, and storms, our coasts and cities will be threatened by rising sea levels, and many ecosystems, plants and animal species will be in serious danger of extinction,” the scientists said in their declaration.

More than 200 leading researchers, including many of the world's pre-eminent climate scientists and seven from Canada, endorsed the statement.

“Each of us is exposed to thousands of brand images every day, most of which are not related to paid advertising,” said Gavan Fitzsimons. “We assume that incidental brand exposures do not affect us, but our work demonstrates that even fleeting glimpses of logos can affect us quite dramatically.”

People who were exposed to the Apple logo generated significantly more unusual uses for the brick compared with those who were primed with the IBM logo, the researchers said. In addition, the unusual uses the Apple-primed participants generated were rated as more creative by independent judges.

SYDNEY: The internet is not web-shaped after all. Instead, it's more more like a globe, made up of a dense core and sparsely connected outer regions, according to a mathematical analysis of its structure.

Color code indicates a relative measure of node importance, with nodes in the most inner shell (red) forming the nucleus of the Internet.

"A better understanding of the internet's structure is important in many ways," said Shavitt. "We can track the internet's evolution in time and generate predictive models to its growth [which will] help us understand how the Internet will look a few years from now so we can plan ahead."

the Internet consists of a dense, heavily connected nucleus of about 100 nodes, including Google and U.S. telecommunications giant ATT WorldNet.

Genetic possibility to anorexia found

A British study of Swedish twins found an overproduction of estrogen may affect the baby's brain, making the child more susceptible to anorexia.

Psychiatrists studying the eating disorder reviewed records of Swedish twins, finding the risk of developing anorexia was higher in girl twins than in boy twins, The Times of London reported.

Claims that girls who become anorexic were influenced by images of rake-thin models weren't disproved by the University of Sussex study. It did suggest, however, that genetics may be involved.

Marco Procopio, one of the study's authors, said health professionals know women are more likely to develop anorexia "and this study goes a long way to explaining why."

He noted that estrogen and other hormones "can have a powerful effect on the body and it would seem that there is an 'over-expression' of estrogen by the mother and the girl twin in some pregnancies."
