Police warn all male clubbers, party-goers and unsuspecting pub regulars to be more alert and cautious when getting a drink offer from a girl. There is a date rape drug going around called "beer" and it is generally in liquid form. The drug is now being used by female sexual predators at parties to convince their male victims to have sex with them. The shocking statistic is that "beer" is available virtually anywhere!

All girls have to do is persuade a guy to consume a few units of "beer" and simply ask the guy home for no-strings-attached sex. Men are literally rendered helpless against such attacks.

Men often awaken after being given "beer" with only hazy memories of exactly what has happened to them the night before

At other times these unfortunate men might be stung for their life's worth in a familiar scam know as "a relationship"

Cancer-fighting agent found in beer

A key ingredient of beer may contain a cancer-fighting substance, a German study indicated.

Studies indicated xanthohumol, found in hops, inhibits a family of enzymes that can trigger the cancer process, as well as help the body detoxify carcinogens, science newswire Ivanhoe reported Monday. Preliminary studies at Oregon State University show that xanthohumol can kill breast, colon, ovarian and prostate cancers.

"It's very healthy. I think the ingredients in the beer are very good," Werner Back of Brewing Technology at the Technical University of Munich.

Xanthohumol contains more powerful antioxidants than vitamin E and some studies indicate it helps reduce oxidation of bad cholesterol, the newswire reported.

"Xanthohumol has been shown to be a very active substance against cancer," said Markus Herrmann , also in Munich. "It comes in small sticky beads, which you find within the hops."

It would take 60 regular beers to equal

one super beer.

We're a secret society (shhhhh...), but it's not like "Skull and Bones", it's more like "We'll jump your Bones", but you get the idea. *LOL* The club celebrates (and therefore of course always toasts to) the love of the World's mightiest and most fun beverage; BEER!.

I'm Chairwoman and betong is the Grand Master of Ceremonies and we have countless groupies and secret supporters in our ranks too. New members are automated added (even without their knowledge because we're THAT secret) if they have a clip that in any way mentions beer, so CBGC's true membership numbers are probably equal to that of a smaller European country. 5 Steps to the Perfect Beer

The glass:
Get a proper beer glass; one that's a good full shape and curves in a little at the top to trap the beer's aromas.

The beer:
Beer is never better than when it is delivered from the brewer. It does not improve with age; in fact, over time it will lose some of the crispness of it's flavour.

The temperature:
This varies with personal taste and with the style of beer.

Pouring:
Slosh some beer into the bottom of the glass to form a head. Then gently pour the beer directly onto the foam to break any large bubbles and pack the head. Leave for a short period to "age" the foam, then tilt the glass and fill carefully. Straighten the glass as it fills and keep pouring until the collar or head just froths over the rim of the glass.

Savouring the beer:

Bring the glass to your lips and inhale gently to take in the aroma of the beer.

Then sip, letting the cool beer flow over the tongue so you savour the full complexity of the flavour. Perfect!

Some people totally underestimate the importance of beer in society. It is because of beer, we are even civilized human beings!! If it weren't for beer, omg, we would probably still be hanging from the trees! (Too much beer and we sometimes relive our evolutionary past.) People should have waaay more respect for beer.

Contrary to Hamurabi, who often preferred to drown people in beer rather than let them drink it, Nebuchadnezzar lacked that fellow's uptight and secular relationship to the fermented beverage. Restaurant takes heat for selling beer popsicles

June 21, 2007 McLEAN, Va. - It sounds like it might be just thing for a hot day -- the beer-sicle. But a suburban Washington restaurant is catching some heat from Virginia liquor authorities.

Frank Morales began selling beer pops last week at his Rustico Restaurant in Alexandria. The frozen beer pops come shaped like a traditional Popsicle for four bucks, or a larger beer cone for six.

But the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control tells the AP the beer-sicles may violate state regulations. The regs require that beer be served in its original container or served to the customer immediately once it's poured. The department plans to send an agent to investigate.

The people at the restaurant say they're working on a way to keep serving their beer pops, while complying with the law.
