Most would answer ...I THINK I WOULD RATHER SMOKE THAN FOR SURE KILL MYSELF BY TAKING A DRUG TO NOT SMOKE. The saddest part of this is that they (BIG PHARMA) are using our veterans as Guinea pigs in their trial and error tests. VA inspector general found gross violations in a VA human testing program; drug linked to suicide

This week in Arkansas the Veterans Affairs inspector general found gross violations in a VA human testing program. For soldiers returning from Afghanistan and Iraq, health care and the transition back into society are important issues. Questions are being raised about what types of health care treatments soldiers should receive. Congress held another hearing on a recent VA case involving veteran negligence based on a series of Washington Times articles. In VA hospitals a non-smoking drug Chantix is given to veterans to help them quit smoking. This even after the FDA, drug maker Pfizer and the VA itself found the drug to have serious risks, including suicidal behavior.

A letter he wrote about God sold for $404,000–and reignited the debate about Einstein’s views on God.

Einstein has often been portrayed as a master of the mysteries of the universe who believed in God. Think of that classic dorm-room poster, with the photograph of Einstein and the quotation: “God doesn’t play dice with the universe.”

Or of his well-known quotation, “Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.”

According to the urban-myth-busting Web site snopes.com, there is also a widely circulated–and false–story of a young Einstein confronting an atheist professor on behalf of religion.

In the letter, he wrote: “The word God is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of honorable but still primitive legends which are nevertheless pretty childish.”

The bad news is, the people, the ones with their heads forever stuck in a book of ancient writings, got their clueless compromise. They made the somewhat backwards educational system of Fla. (which they themselves are mostly responsible for) a bit more regressive by not allowing Evolution to stand alone. They, (Neanderthal school board members) said ... the "E" word is OK, as long as it's called "A THEORY" but these poor stymied script people, haven't a glimmer of what Scientific Theory means. They mindlessly believe it means speculation or inconclusive evidence. When in fact it means, an explanation based on observation, experimentation, and reasoning. Scientific theory is based on careful, rational examination of facts. A fact is something that is supported by unmistakable evidence. Florida takes two steps forward, one step back

The good news is, Florida, for the first time in its history, will feature the word “evolution” in its state science standards. The bad news is, the reality-based community in the state had to make a compromise in order to get the word in there.

Florida’s State Board of Education has voted to use the term “scientific theory of evolution” in new science standards, the first time the word “evolution” has been included.

Florida’s current standards require the teaching of evolution using code words like “change over time.”

A friend of mine has jumped the liberal fence and went over to the Ron Paul Republican side. I was a bit taken back by this because she and I were always on the same page when it came to religion, science and politics. We all change our minds BUT WHAT A LEAP. I sent her this little tidbit the other day...
I was never smitten by Paul, but when I heard he believes life begins at conception and his totally insane quote that evolution is just a theory That's enough to convince me that he is just another religious nut. Anyone with religious based notions, floating in their conditioned minds should not be our leader.

Existence or non-existence, which is it?

But, in our little non-existence (earth, known universe ) science works so perfectly, not because it is science or science is god, but we convert perception into science, for example, we observe that earth is going around the sun, and we decide to make it a "science fact" that earth goes around the sun every 365 days, from the perspective of non-existence, such event does not even take place, from the perspective of some other dimension, earth and sun are moving parallel to each other in form of rays of light.
I would like to say " non-existence is beautiful ' however i don't even exist... and such comment does not exist, never have, all this stuff you just read, never happened. Pretty cool huh.

SOME SCIENCE FACTS ON EXISTENCE or non-existence FROM MOTIONO SCIENCE....WOW!

Science can not define existence, because existence does not exist, this is probably non-existence we are experiencing.

Whatever this is, it can not be something with a beginning, ( like the big bang theory ), because the moment you apply a beginning to it in order to give it a scientific meaning, you would simply be ignoring all the science laws and then compensate it by having science "thereafter". In other words all the science that makes perfect sense by placing the big bang theory out there, makes sense in order to level out the non-sense of the big bang theory.

What this means is, everything is always cancelled out into non-existence, this is the core element of non-existence.

In a sense, death is impossible, because you can not go out of existence if this is non-existence itself we are experiencing.

The beauty about non-existence over existence is that, only non-existence would give us free will
