The shortness part, isn't why I am blogging this. Because I could care less if McCain is touchy about his lack of tallness. What I did find interesting was in the comment section, at the bottom of the webpage. A comment made by an ex-Air Force officer, who remarked about John McCain's POW HERO status and lack there of. Now I don't know if this ex-Air Force officer knew John McCain or not. But never-the-less, it raises a lot of suspicion about Maverick McCain's Hero Rank. I can't help but wonder, why the Obama Camp doesn't seem interested in using it, the same way the NASTY ONES, on the other side of the political arena would... (THE RED SIDE)

I'm glad it's finally coming out that this man is NO hero!

Holy, "SOP", Batman! If only one third of this is true... it's explosive.

As an ex-air force officer (1962-1967) I'm glad it's finally coming out that this man is NO hero! He destroyed 5 airplanes, admitted that he was a "gambler" when he flew; went in alone on a Hanoi target when the bombing run was being called off; and then tried to "outrun" a SAM missile. Things got SO bad that none of his fellow officers wanted to fly with him and he was being re-evaluated for removal from flying status when he was shot down. Words like "reckless", "intemperate" and "lacks common sense" were part of the lexicon of John McCain, naval pilot. I don't mind the "confessions" while he was a POW, that was pretty much SOP, but what I DO mind is that his so-called "selflessness" when he "refused" to accept early release was anything but...he WAS offered early release because of his family connections, but was ORDERED not to accept it! And now, his never-ending use of his "heroism" as if he'd actually been one. MORE BELOW:

A new Rolling Stone article demolishes John McCain's self-anointed maverick status. He was a bad pilot who benefited greatly from his family's Navy lineage. As a POW, he confessed to his torturers. He cheated on both wives and has an uncontrollable temper. Also, John McCain is touchy about his small stature. Sayeth the Stone:

"McCain is sensitive about his physical appearance, especially his height. The candidate is only five-feet-nine, making him the shortest party nominee since Michael Dukakis."

Some people speculate that McCain is actually five-feet-seven, without the lifts.

Either way, Rumplestiltskin is a shorty.

But why should that give him a one-upmanship over Obama... as far as fair reporting is concerned? Maybe corporate media has more to gain under republican rule or maybe it's just that they fear a McCain attack because they've taken note of how McMean and his Cold-Hearted-VP pick's, mean-spirited, hateful innuendoes launched against Obama have stirred the "Republican base of loathing", to get "physical" with any contrived foe. I believe it's both but they've got the case of the willies when it comes to the ornery right-wing mentality, knowing they might band together and threaten not to buy the goods their sponsors hawk!

As bad as this exclusivity is, it could be tolerated if they also had a "live and let live" attitude. But unfortunately, anyone who crosses their path, who's not "IN" they will socially banish. They do this, by falsely labeling, and contriving suspicions of any non-"IN", creating an impression that something is shockingly wrong with anyone who, by their calculations, cannot be part of their "IN" crowd. But what's most perplexing is... It's one thing to behave like this in a state of childhood but carried into adulthood? Mind boggling!

I had said to myself on numerous occasions, if Obama ever shows up in the proximity of my neighborhood, (take or leave a few hundred miles) I will go to see him in the flesh. Barack Obama, is like a dream come true for me and my fellow Democrats. He embodies for us, the reason we chose this party over the other big one and all of the smaller ones.

When minds are so full of the nonsense from the right-wing creeps, who's only objective is to make money and control the masses, they tend to wreck havoc upon the innocent.
