Smoking or Suicide? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out. Most would answer ...I THINK I WOULD RATHER SMOKE THAN FOR SURE KILL MYSELF BY TAKING A DRUG TO NOT SMOKE. The saddest part of this is that they (BIG PHARMA) are using our veterans as Guinea pigs in their trial and error tests. Just so they can put on the market more deadly drugs and coerce, we the public to buy into their schemes that make them rich! Afghanistan and Iraq, health care and the transition back into society are
important issues. Questions are being raised about what types of health care

articles. In VA hospitals a non-smoking drug Chantix is given to veterans to
help them quit smoking. This even after the FDA, drug maker Pfizer and the VA

But, came across this article which tells a story of how a Dr. Curtis, an anthropologist , living in African, wanted to save lives by trying to change habits that induce disease to routines of prevention. As in, washing hands after each toilet use. Easier said than done because an often unconscious pattern of behavior acquired through frequent repetition is what makes you, you. So how can an entity go about changing unconscious unhealthy responses into ones that can save lives? Well, by seeking the help of the very industries that have for years spent billions of cash on manipulating the public and convincing them they cannot live without their products, in other words, changing habits. Makes sense, Big Pharma is good at it and perhaps, indirectly, all they have learned to part us from our $$$ can now be of benefit to those who are dying simply because of bad habits.

Clip Source: www.gainesville.com

A FEW years ago, a self-described “militant liberal” named Val Curtis decided
that it was time to save millions of children from death and disease. So Dr.
Curtis, an anthropologist then living in the African nation of Burkina Faso,
contacted some of the largest multinational corporations and asked them, in
effect, to teach her how to manipulate consumer habits worldwide.

But getting people into a soap habit, it turns out, is surprisingly hard.

To overcome this hurdle, Dr. Curtis called on three top consumer goods companies
to find out how to sell hand-washing the same way they sell Speed Stick
deodorant and Pringles potato chips.

companies that Dr. Curtis turned to — Procter & Gamble, Colgate-Palmolive

But, instead will do everything in its power to break an industry (one that has mostly helped people live a better life) they deem unlawful. Between 1978 and 1997, 35 states and the District of Columbia passed legislation recognizing marijuana's medicinal value. Still the goofballs in the Whitehouse and Congress demand that these states have no autonomy when it comes to this natural drug from a plant. I don't know, it just seems preposterous to me. More facts at this site: http://www.drugwarfacts.org/medicalm.htm People have got to start thinking and start realizing, our government is mostly full of BS. thinkingblue
clipper's remarks: Whether you are a pharmaceutical pill popper or not, you still are taking Big Pharma's Drugs by just being thirsty and drinking a glass of water. Gives new meaning to the 17th-century English poet John Donne, who penned the words below:

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were: any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.

Just think, every human body, that is ingesting the Doctor ordered drugs and eliminating some of these substances because the body is incapable of digesting all of the noxious ingredients. Therefore, sharing these prescribed poisons unwittingly, with the rest of us with one trip to the bathroom. Anyone who is taking or about to take statins should heed its message. Doctors have, for a long time, prescribed drugs we don't need and really should not be taking because of their harmful side effects to our systems. Remember all the antibiotics you gave your child, for the common cold? Doctors led you to believe your child would become very sick or even die if they didn't take this drug... It should be a crime but since Big Pharma has our government wrapped around its $$$ finger we keep taking and shelling out big bucks for these unnecessary and harmful drugs
Read: http://www.thenation.com/doc/20020805/newman20020725

Clip Source: www.youtube.com

Statins & Side-Effects

Effect of statins are listed on in adverts and on the leaflet supplied with the medication.
more info at: www.spacedoc.net
and www.thincs.org
Tau protein seleno-protein CoQ10

Tags: big, pharma, statin, cholesterol

<clipSource>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHK2vPCIzP0&feature=related</clipSource>

Cholesterol drugs will devitalize muscles.

clipped by: thinkingblue
clipper's remarks: Here it is again folks. Case in point, a local doctor who resides in a rural town thinks nothing of threatening a patient with a "IF YOU DON'T TAKE THIS MEDICATION I AM PRESCRIBING, I WILL CALL YOUR INSURER AND TELL THEM THAT YOU ARE DELIBERATELY RISKING YOUR HEALTH AND THEY WILL DROP YOU!" Sounds a bit bizarre doesn't it? Well, it really happened. This particular health care provider, prescribes anti-cholesterol drugs like it's going out of style. No Joke! Now studies are proving that we need some cholesterol in our systems, it's enough to make you want to ban Big Pharma's drugs and all the sycophants who do their bidding.

Clip Source: articles.mercola.com

Cholesterol Has Benefits, Too

align=right>Cholesterol may not be all bad, and may in fact have some benefits,
according to a new study from researchers at Texas A&M University.

The study involved 55 men and women between the ages of 60 and 69 who
exercised three days a week for 12 weeks.

A significant association was
found between dietary cholesterol and change in strength. It was found that
lower cholesterol levels reduced muscle gain that occurred with exercise, while
those with higher cholesterol intake also had the highest gains in muscle
strength.

“Our findings show that the restricting of cholesterol -- while
in the process of exercising -- appears to affect building muscle mass in a
negative manner,” the researchers said.

They suggested that the effect
may be due to cholesterol’s role in the inflammation process. More cholesterol
in your blood may lead to a greater inflammatory response that is useful for
building muscles.
