Cockroaches are creepy, no doubt about it. But a cockroach in human form is not only repulsive, they lack the most basic moral and ethical properties of a living soul. And that kind of deficiency renders them the lowest of loathsome and heinous beyond reason. Reading an essay about a book (THE COCKROACH PAPERS) that recapitulates the characteristics of a cockroach and nuttin but a cockroach (insect that is) is almost charming, compared to Corsi's novel of lies! FOX's smears against Obama are out of control--have you heard about them? I just signed a petition telling FOX that their use of racism and prejudice is not okay. Would be great if you signed too.

First, a paid FOX commentator accidentally confused "Obama" with "Osama" and then joked on the air about killing Obama. Next, a FOX anchor said a playful fist pound by Barack and Michelle Obama could be a "terrorist fist jab." (Seriously!) And then, FOX called Michelle Obama "Obama's baby mama"--slang used to describe the unmarried mother of a man's child.

Nearly 100,000 folks have signed a petition that will be delivered to FOX. Can you sign too? The more names, the bigger the impact. Here's the link.

Yes it's very hard to believe this mindless little man could stoop so low as to praise the flood victims in Iowa, Illinois who happen to be mostly white and at the same time, condemn the Katrina victims with the same old rhetoric, innuendos and outright bigotry that the KKK type people carry in their bags of hateful garbage.

Those poor hurrican victims, who happen to be mostly of color are responsible in the intolerant brain cells of Rush, for their fate. I know beyond the pale, is too weak a phrase for this criticism from a genuine butt-hole. Friday was the 40th anniversary of the death of Robert F. Kennedy. Had he lived, he would be 82 now.

It's impossible to gauge the what-ifs of history. But nevertheless, I wonder what Kennedy, a complicated man with a profound sense of the moral issues at play in politics, would have made of the idea that Barack Obama has captured the Democratic Party's nomination for president.

He might not have been surprised. Kennedy had been accused of dreaming when he said in the early 1960s that a black person could get elected president in the next 40 years.

The fact that even a dreamer could imagine nothing shorter than a 40-year timeline gives us a glimpse of the nightmarish depths of racial oppression that people of goodwill have had to fight.

When comedian Al Franken wrote the book "Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot and Other Observations" in 1996, he may have been half jesting. Maybe...

John McCain seeks to distance himself from the ugly vitriol of James Dobson, Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Malkin et al. Yet I recall McCain's telling a truly offensive joke about Chelsea Clinton's looks, and responding to a supporter who asked in regard to Hillary, "How do we beat the bitch?" by calling that "an excellent question." So can he really claim the high moral ground here? Just when I've though I had heard everything hateful that could possibly spew from one Bill O'Reilly's appalling brain cells via his stammering mouth. He comes out with the Daddy of all hate statements, utilizing the abhorring and hopefully archaic word "LYNCH". A categorically, 100% racist, discriminatory remark, in reference to a presidential candidate's wife. Make no mistake this careless comment did not just come out of nowhere. It clearly demonstrates the odious ideology of this small minded, judgmental man. The fact that the Fox network allows such hatemongering to go to the lengths of intense hostility against another person is beyond reason. But of all people to use such tactics, one would imagine, Hillary Clinton could never resort to such dirty tricks. After all the lies that the republican camps had flung her way hoping to smear her husband and herself into obliteration, I would think she would have become a defender of truth. I'm very disappointed with Hillary and Bill's choice to embrace the swiftboater's dirty maneuvers to win an election. A direct-mail piece sent to voters by the Clinton campaign twists Obama’s words and gives a false picture of his proposals:

It says he "wants to raise Social Security taxes by a trillion dollars," a big distortion.

Obama has said a “good option” would be to apply Social Security payroll taxes to incomes over $97,500 a year

but that would only affect taxes paid by 6.5 percent

he hasn’t formally proposed such a move anyway.

The Clinton mailer says Obama has "no plan" for a moratorium on foreclosures such as the one Clinton has proposed. That’s true, but Obama has his own plan for homeowner relief.
