If they did this so I would see RED..., they sure knew what they were doing. Because I saw every color in the rainbow! I was so angry that I took the allotted money I had put aside for food and paid them off! Also, gave them a piece of my mind in an email.

Anyway, here is my vent to the giant credit card gluttons.

More at: http://www.thethinkingblue.com/creditcardgreed.html

Clip Source: www.thethinkingblue.com

CREDIT CARD GREED

what I've learned, that if you have a credit card account and it

I felt like I was Yogi Berrer uttering, "This is like deja vu all over again."... But this time is wasn’t War Monger Dubya speaking, it was the "Change You Can Believe In” and the, “Every time I speak about my hope for America, the cynics in Washington roll their eyes.”, Barack Obama. The man who once asked before his election, “I ask you to believe-not just in my ability to bring about real change in Washington. I'm asking you to believe in yours.” ...

YEAH RIGHT Mr. President, and may I ask… “WHAT HAPPENED TO DIPLOMACY TO END THIS WAR? Acting as though he was god, he continues to threaten politicians who do not buckle under the pressures of his religious dogma. Not having dominance over those who have not been indoctrinated in the Catholic ideology (which must really piss this guy off) he badgers those who he can badger. Threatening them, that only he and his church can guarantee their ticket into heaven and only if they do his bidding. What total and archaic nonsense. Tobin the Thug probably would be sentencing people to the guillotine if he had been born hundreds of years ago when (in the western hemisphere) church and state were one.

Now, I am sure there are intelligent clergy among those in the hierarchy of the Catholic church who believe and teach their flock that religion and state should be separated but apparently Bishop Tobin or should I say Holiest Highness Tobin is NOT ONE OF THEM. According to one Catholic Bishop, it's over or never began.
How can a priest ban a parishioner, who helps pay his salary, from a spiritual right within his religion? If I were Patrick, I would turn to an enlightened source of organized spirituality or just use the brain he was born with before it was tarnished with incongruous notions thought up by a pack of authoritarian male homo-sapiens.
Religion is what is screwing up the world, in all its eerie, ghostly and spooky forms; it seems to rail against rational thought. This is how they rule. This is how they coerce wars and this is how they enslave the masses.
As one escapee from the clutches of irrational thought perpetuated by an organized religion, I can tell you it is far better to be acquainted with logic and reason in this, OH SO MANY QUESTIONS UNANSWERED universe of ours. This was to be a huge breakthrough for us in solving some of the perplexing questions about existence amongst other things, As in: What's It All About Elfie?

The first time the Atom Smasher was turned on more than a year ago, it resulted in failure, for this 10 billion dollar experiment. Overhaul of the health-care system… HUH? First the Credit Card Ind. tries their hand at price gauging before the deadline of Gov. changes go into effect, Feb. 2010. Now BIG PHARMA jumps on the greed bandwagon, putting gluttony above altruism by raising already exuberant drug prices before reform takes place. Is BIG CORP. DADDY beginning to feel the slight strangulation of a Progressive Gov. in control? I don’t think so. What they are feeling is the loss of authority, handed to them on a silver plate by leaders in Congress who only respond to how much $$$ they can get from the greedaholic’s quid pro quo. Giving the SOB’s, carte blanche on what they can do to the rest of us. The fracturing of our fragile consumer driven economic system should have changed their behavior but as the saying goes… You Can’t Teach An Old Dog New Tricks. His name was Adam Walsh and he was a year younger than my own. The Walsh's horrible story, could have been mine. I, many times frequented the same place as Adam and his mom and I forever shuddered to think it my child who was cut from the herd and open to attack.

We as a society should warn our children and ourselves that we are but one or two seconds from something so heinous that our lives would never recover. Whenever our children leave the safety of our sight, we should tell them, "Never allow a stranger to talk lies, in order to hurt you. Scream, cry, run and fight if need be, not to be taken by anyone.”

Every child, every young person who falls victim to the savages amongst us, must be a reminder that we live in a jungle of predators but worse, these fiends look like us, so we have to be even more vigilant than jungle prey.

Clip Source: www.thethinkingblue.com

Justice for Somer Thompson

This is a story of
egregious tragedy, not only for the loved ones involved but for
all of us who exist in a social environment, infiltrated by
murderous monsters. This horror may not have happened if we all
considered our surroundings to be parallel to the darkness of
dense jungles where meat eaters lurk behind the thickness of
forestry waiting their next gorge. Without envisioning this
comparable, life appears orderly and free of danger.

Within the food
chain, hunger is the motivator to kill. It's not called murder
but it is the same. Something must die in order to satisfy the
needs of a predator. When a youngling is cut away from the
protection of the herd, a beast of prey will spot, immediately
the vulnerability of this life form and direct all its attention
towards a capture. What happened to this child is the same. A
monster, perhaps not even on its usual hunt, zeroed in on a
little girl, alone, away from any protection

and used its cunning

They come out with a lalapalooza... They are now going to charge their credit card customers for... hold on to your proverbial hats... INACTIVITY! I heard this on CNN this morning and I couldn't believe it. Bank of America, yup the ones who received $25 billion from the government's $700 billion financial rescue fund, including $10 billion that would have gone to Merrill had it not been acquired by good old Bank of America.
Now, instead of just gouging those who are in debt and over a barrel they are targeting people who have enough income and only use credit cards, as a convenience. The question is, are these financially better off consumers going to take it? Or Are they going to (like the rest of us) GET MAD AS HELL AND NOT GONNA TAKE IT NO MO? I hope they will be strong enough, in numbers, to put these greedy banks in their place… If not there is NO JUSTICE!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Clip Source: www.usatoday.com

Latest bank fee is for paying off credit card on time every month

Starting next year, Bank of America will charge a small number of customers an annual fee, ranging from $29 to $99.

card holders who have never carried a balance or paid late fees could be among those affected.

Citigroup, meanwhile, has started charging annual fees to card holders who don't put more than a specific amount on their cards, typically $2,400 a year. Though only 2, for USA hit the number 3 slot.
It's a pity that the human race has yet to understand that we are all one, all traveling in the same direction of unknowing. Yet material-wise we struggle to have a one-upmanship on one another; a need of sorts to look down your nose at those financially beneath you due to hard luck or heritage.
The visualization of this gap is hardest to stomach. With architecturally handsome buildings on one side of the picture (You can envision those within these structures looking out their ivory tower windows at the ants below.) and poor people, on the other side, in fetal-like positions, huddled against buildings to protect themselves from the elements, cold, hungry and hopeless. It’s the food-chain, only the winners aren’t the fittest but the greediest.

Clip Source: finance.yahoo.com

Countries with the Biggest Gaps Between Rich and Poor

income inequality worldwide

The UNDP ranked countries and regions based on a number of factors, including their Gini coefficient, named for Italian statistician Corrado Gini.

Scandinavian countries, Japan, and the Czech Republic have the least amount of inequality. Huh?

I can't believe a charlatan like this guru, Ray can so easily flimflam people into paying him lots of cash so they can suffer greatly (even die) in some sweaty, crowded, hot cubbyhole.

If only I could have talked to these poor souls before they handed over their health and wampum to some Nut. Maybe I could have saved them by telling them go live and blend in to a Third World slum where there's plenty of misery and sweat, trying to survive, to see if that will bring about the financial glorification they seek?

Maybe if they would have helped someone living in these REAL, not conjured up conditions, fulfillment may have followed.

Never underestimate the power of GIVING!

Clip Source: www.thethinkingblue.com

3rd person dies in Ariz. sweat lodge ceremony

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – An Arizona homicide investigation
now includes three deaths after a woman died more than a week
after participating in a sweat lodge ceremony that hospitalized
nearly two dozen people.

Liz Neuman of Minnesota died Saturday at a Flagstaff hospital,
Yavapai County sheriff's spokesman Dwight D'Evelyn said.

The 49-year-old suffered multiple organ damage during the Oct.
8 ceremony at a resort near Sedona, a resort town 115 miles north
of Phoenix that draws many in the New Age spiritual movement.

Authorities were treating all three deaths as homicides, but
no charges have been filed.

Neuman was among more than 50 people crowded inside the sweat

Health care is one of those touchy subjects that people would like to feel, money has no power over. How naive! When money is involved, forgetaboutit, you become a $ sign. I once worked for a funeral home and I was amazed how money was the bottom-line. This creative industry didn’t like, waiting for people to die to make their bucks, so they devised something called pre-need funeral contracts. It’s a contract signed by a consumer who agrees to pay installments on goods and services to assure they have the paraphernalia needed to get rid of their earthly remains upon death. The funeral directors (salesmen) get paid a commission on what they sell. So they try to sell the most expensive items (much like car salesmen) to prospective customers often, resulting in aggressive, hard selling. It’s disgusting, but not as bad as doctors convincing patients to undergo unnecessary procedures to increase their OWN wealth. THAT’S SICK!

Clip Source: www.npr.org

The Telltale Wombs Of Lewiston, Maine

Listen to the Story

A view of Lewiston, Maine. He was no hero but the history books continue to paint him that way. Why? Is it because the Christopher Columbus myth has taken a life of its own and cannot be dispelled? Human beings love fantasy. We love to be lifted, if only for a short period, out of our humdrum lives. We also love answers, even if most of the answers we are given by historians don't hold water, we will still cling to them. It makes me wonder that maybe in the not so far off future when we are all trying to survive the Global Warming Effects, history books will claim that the George W Bush era helped save our planet by getting rid of billions of poor people so that the wealthiest will have a better chance at survival. All the rich kids will read about their savior "W" while they bask in the sun at the seashores of South Dakota and Kansas on their George W Bush day off. No different from today.

Clip Source: perdurabo10.tripod.com

What Is The Real Columbus Story?

The discovery of the North and South American continents by Europeans occurred no more than 600

I'm proud of Pres. Obama but he's only human and therefore fallible. I don't believe (lucky for us) his admin. is as reckless as the Bush/Cheney one was. They cared nothing for people, nothing for the WORLD, only their pipe-dreams of total power were important to them. They were almost non-human. Thank goodness they are no longer in power. I can't imagine what else they would have done to ruin America. Sadly there are some of their ruthless followers carrying-on where they left off. (Beck & Limbaugh) but without power they are neutered and just don't have the BITE their mentors had! Thanks Michael for printing on your site, michaelmoore.com a retraction of sorts about what you think of our President winning the Nobel Peace Prize. I know the Republicans stick together more than we but that's their sin, not blessing.
