SNOWFALL AMOUNTS 15 TO 25 CENTIMETRES IS FORECAST UNTIL SATURDAY MORNING. THE SNOW WILL MIX IN WITH ICE PELLETS OVER THE EXTREME SOUTH.

A LOW PRESSURE CENTRE DEVELOPING NEAR CAPE COD WILL TRACK TOWARD NEW BRUNSWICK THIS EVENING. SNOW AT TIMES HEAVY WILL SPREAD EASTWARD TO REACH THE ACADIAN COAST THIS EVENING. STRONG EASTERLY WINDS AHEAD OF THE STORM WILL GIVE LOW VISIBILITIES IN BLOWING SNOW. THE SNOW WILL BECOME MIXED WITH ICE PELLETS BEFORE CHANGING TO RAIN ALONG THE FUNDY COAST AND SOUTHEASTERN NEW BRUNSWICK OVERNIGHT TONIGHT. THERE IS A RISK OF FREEZING RAIN DURING THE CHANGE OVER. PRECIPITATION WILL END SATURDAY MORNING. MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION AND MODIFY TRAVEL PLANS ACCORDINGLY.

Now THIS is a Blizzard!!!

You think you know snow? If you're like me, a good 12" snow here in the Midwest shuts us down and leaves us digging out for a few days. Now imagine 10 times that amount with 4 more feet coming and that leaves you with the amazing photos below

Most people hate digging out their car. In this snow you have to find it first

You hate shoveling the drive? How about shoveling the second story roof?

I've never had to do this but I'm guessing that one is not going to end well

Even if you do dig out. It's not like you're going anywhere. That broom is worthless

The bus stops have turned into snow caves

What makes this picture even funnier is that it is the second story

No hill needed. You can sled down the front door in this blizzard

Now that's the kind of neighbor you want to have

Doesn't look like much except there are three cars in the drive

Not much to say here but Damn!!!

She doesn't look real excited about this photo. Somebody's not going to help shovel

Somehow I'm guessing this guy's just going to wait it out inside

I'm pretty sure the mailman is not coming today but it was a nice gesture

It was a classic case of clinical depression.

The patient would not go out for fear of being bullied, moped around the house and sought comfort in eating.

Eventually there was nothing for it. Twiglet the cat had to be put on Prozac.

The 12-year-old grey tabby, whose weight had ballooned to 15lb, became one of the first pets in Britain to be given anti-depressant drugs, on the advice of a vet who said she had 'anger management issues'.

And the results have been dramatic. Five months later, Twiglet has lost almost 7lb and is roaming around the back garden without fear.

"She became just like any depressed person," said owner Jackie Martin, 28, an office administrator from Brighton.

"She became so frightened she rarely ventured out and put on weight because she wasn't getting any exercise.

The problems began last March when Twiglet came home with a broken tail and clumps of fur missing.

A ginger tom had chased her and even jumped through the cat flap to attack her in her own kitchen.

"When I took her to the vet I was told she had anxiety issues and depression brought on by the stress of being bullied by other cats," said Miss Martin.

Twiglet was prescribed the Prozac-like drug amitriptyline, to be taken once a day.

Despite her weight loss, however, what has cheered up Twiglet the most is that the ginger tom and its owner have moved away.

Message To Cats

Dear Cats

When I say to move, it means to go someplace else, not switch positions with each other so there are still two of you in the way.

The dishes with the paw print are yours and contain your food. The other dishes are mine and contain my food. Please note that placing a paw print in the middle of my plate and food does not stake a claim for it becoming your food and dish, nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.

The hallway was not designed by NASCAR and is therefore not a racetrack.

Beating me to the end is not the object. Tripping me doesn't help either,as I fall faster than you can run.

I cannot buy anything bigger than a king size bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think I will resort to sleeping on the sofa to ensure your comfort. Look at videos of cats sleeping. They can actually curl up into a ball. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other stretched out to the fullest extent possible. Please note that sticking tails and tongues out to maximize space used is nothing but sarcasm.

My compact discs are not miniature Frisbees.

For the last time, there is not a secret exit from the bathroom.

If, by some miracle, I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, meeow, try to turn the knob, or to get your paw under the edge and try to pull the door open. When I exit this room, I will come out the same door I entered.

In addition, I have been using bathrooms for years. Feline attendance has never been necessary.

The proper order is kiss me, then go smell the other cat's litter tray. I cannot stress this enough. It would be such a simple change for you.
