And most of the people that are protesting the loudest are doing so because they're trying to suppress their own secret urges.

Clip Source: www.queerty.com

Ken Hutcherson has officially lost his mind.

Controversial and virulently anti-gay Hutcherson - pictured above getting down with the Klan - wants to wage an unholy war against Microsoft. The former footballer and FBI suspect reportedly asked his Evangelical peers and Jewish colleagues to buy up Microsoft stock and force the technology giant to abandon its gay rights advocacy.

Apparently Hutcherson told Microsoft that he’ll be their “worst nightmare” if they don’t concede. He also said that he refuses to be intimidated by Microsoft’s size, wealth and power:

I consider myself a warrior for Christ. Microsoft don’t scare me. I got God with me. I told them that you need to work with me or we will put a firestorm on you like you have never seen in you life because I am your worst nightmare. I am a black man with a righteous cause with a whole host of powerful white people behind me.

Tags: kkk, anti-gay, alliance, microsoft, crusade, hate, religion, christianity

<clipSource>http://www.queerty.com/news/ken-hutcherson-takes-on-gay-loving-microsoft-20071116/</clipSource>

CD and DVD cover searchengine

clipped by: pokkets
clipper's remarks: I found some covers that I was surprised were there. The results can be narrowed with title and artist. Some of the searches can give the idea how many names can be used by so many people, in different ways. I tried Face to Face, because it was a 70's Australian Album and wasn't sure if it was a CD. The range of results can be wide. Can make surprises more likely

Clip Source: albumart.org

of timber is one of the most eye-catching and unique timepieces we've ever seen.

But that's not because the groundbreaking Wooden Clock is made of a simple slab of wood; it's because the glowing digital numerals
appear as if by magic on its smooth surface; there's no smoked-perspex panel or discernable display to be seen!

Indeed, until the numbers illuminate, the Wooden Clock looks exactly like a regular block of wood - albeit a smooth, sanded,
slightly Swedish-looking one. And don't bother asking us how it works 'cuz we haven't got a clue. All we know is that digital
numbers look seriously cool glowing against a natural-looking wooden background.

The Wooden Clock is a seriously chic desktop/bedside device because despite its hi-tech functionality there's nothing to detract
from its smooth lines. Even the dial for setting the time and alarm is hidden on the back of the block. So if you're the kind of
person who likes to be on time but would rather not sully your surfaces with a cumbersome clock, the supremely unobtrusive Wooden
Clock is most definitely for you.

Best of all the Wooden Clock is the perfect antidote to all those novelty clocks favoured by 'I'm kooky, I am' geeks, because it's
different without being dorky. What time is it? No, it's not time to suck a lime, it's Wooden Clock time!

Tags: clock, cool, wood

<clipSource>http://www.firebox.com/index.html?dir=firebox&action=product&pid=1258</clipSource>

Does God Believe in Richard Dawkins?

clipped by: elree
clipper's remarks: It's always interesting to see how Dawkins manages to make the defensible seem indefensible until you realize his antireligious tirades are based on an embarrassing amount of speculation and stereotype.

Clip Source: www.beliefnet.com

In The God Delusion, Dawkins takes off the gloves, plus the scarf and the earmuffs. Faith isn't merely wrong, he argues; religion is dangerous lunacy. The religious do not deserve respect, any more than respect should be extended to crazy people raving in the streets about the Trilateral Commission. If there were no religion, The God Delusion maintains, there would have been no 9/11, no Troubles in Northern Ireland, no Israeli-Palestinian conflict, no partition of India and Pakistan, "no shiny-suited bouffant-haired televangelists fleecing gullible people of their money." That belief in God is a delusion is not a private matter, Dawkins writes; the religious are well-organized and influence the world's governments, and essentially all of their influence is harmful. Dawkins proposes that atheists and agnostics stop politely respecting faith and organize to discredit religion, with the goal of halting its involvement in education and public policy. Coming after Sam Harris' The End of Faith, which also argues that it is time for secular society actively to oppose religion, The God Delusion is an important book that merits close reading.

Though Dawkins rightly catalogs religion's many deficiencies, he fudges or simply skips over virtues. Set aside whether or not God exists: it is factual that religion is at the core of much of the world's philanthropy. Faith has underscored many social equity movements, from abolitionism in the United States to Gladstone's social equality movement in Dawkins' United Kingdom to the present day, in which religious organizations such as World Vision ask that the wealth of the West be shared with the poor of developing nations. Obviously a person need not be religious to be philanthropic, but the knowledge that religion inspires generosity should not be sneezed at.

Does God Believe in Richard Dawkins?

Tags: religion, atheism

<clipSource>http://www.beliefnet.com/story/202/story_20279_1.html</clipSource>
