His research has demonstrated that it is possible to be happier — to feel more satisfied, to be more engaged with life, find more meaning, have higher hopes, and probably even laugh and smile more, regardless of one’s circumstances. Positive psychology interventions can also lastingly decrease depression symptoms. The research underlying these rigorously tested interventions is presented in the July/August edition of the American Psychologist, the journal of the American Psychology Association.

Tags: positive psychology, dr. seligman

<clipSource>http://www.authentichappiness.sas.upenn.edu/Default.aspx</clipSource>

Dave Egger's Book

clipped by: sblovell

Clip Source: www.amazon.com

A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius (Paperback)

by Dave Eggers

Dave Eggers (Author)

› Visit Amazon's Dave Eggers Page

Find all the books, read about the author, and more.

See search results for this author

Are you an author? It is used for allowing the client side of an application to communitcate with the server side of the application. Before AJAX, there was no way for the client side of a web application to communicate directly with the server. Instead, you would have to use page loads. With AJAX, the client and server can communicate freely with one another.

Tags: ajax

<clipSource>http://www.noupe.com/ajax/how-ajax-works.html</clipSource>
