Naturally, where there is actual bullying, anywhere, anytime, for any reason, those responsible should be firmly disciplined. However, the reality is that DOS has very little to do with "bullying" and has everything to do with pro-homosexual, anti-Christian indoctrination.

Consider that during DOS, many kids who hold time-honored traditional values relative to sexual morality (i.e., that human sexuality is a gift from God to be shared between husband and wife within the bonds of marriage) are frequently and ironically tagged as "hateful," "bigoted," and "homophobic." (Who's doing the bullying?)

something extraordinary happened on the way to the brainwashing. Kids at schools all over the country stood tall and said, "Enough is enough!" But according to The Seattle Times, concerns have been raised over that particular gathering. The newspaper reports that Melissa Jones -- a Christian parent -- challenges the idea that a spiritual leader can "deliver a completely secular message," as the schools and organizers say the exiled leader will. Another parent, Becky Tilev, tells the Times it is unfair that the district tiptoes around her Christian faith, yet appears to have no problems busing students in to hear the leader of another religion. And she feels uncomfortable that the Dalai Lama will be introduced as "his holiness."

Hiram Sasser, the director of litigation with the Liberty Legal Institute, says there is no cause for concern -- at least legally. The idea is a simple one. Create a boatload of free micro-websites, each individually administrated by a local church. The sites operate like a "Craig's List" for good deeds (we have to say "deeds" these days because "works" carries negative connotations in some circles, despite Matthew 5:16). Then people can post their needs on the site, and church members can find needs that match their skills. ArkALMIGHTY helps Christians to expand their view of Christian service to include things like teaching the son of a single mother how to bat or throw a baseball. The church can choose whether to restrict the "needs" list to members of their local body, or use the site as an outreach to their community.

Tags: skill, education, need, good deeds, work, religion, movies

<clipSource>http://www.onenewsnow.com/2007/06/perspectives_arkalmighty_is_af.php</clipSource>

Atheism and Secular Humanism are RELIGIONS

clipped by: rvnurse2b
clipper's remarks: The censoring of Christians by atheists or secular humanists IS religious discrimination!

Clip Source: www.afa.net

The Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that prison officials erred because they “did not treat atheism as a ‘religion.’” “Atheism,” said the court, “is [the inmate’s] religion, and the group that he wanted to start was religious in nature even though it expressly rejects a belief in a supreme being.”

The Supreme Court has said that a religion need not be based on a belief in the existence of a supreme being.
