Britney Spears: 'What the Hell Was I Thinking?'

In an upcoming documentary, Britney Spears candidly discusses her loneliness and her regrets about her much-publicized erratic behavior.

"I sit there and I'll look back and I'm like: I'm a smart person. What the hell was I thinking?" the pop star says in the 90-minute film, tentatively titled For the Record, produced in partnership with MTV.

In a video clip from the film, the 26-year-old Spears alludes to her tumultuous past: her divorce from Kevin Federline, forced psychiatric hospitalizations and loss of custody of her two sons.

The US government's debts have ballooned so badly the National Debt Clock in New York has run out of digits to record the spiralling figure.

The digital counter marks the national debt level, but when that passed the $10 trillion point last month, the sign could not display the full amount.

The board was erected to highlight the $2.7 trillion level of debt in 1989.

The clock's owners say two more zeros will be added, allowing the clock to record a quadrillion dollars of debt.

Douglas Durst, son of the late Seymour Durst - the clock's inventor - hopes to replace the Manhattan clock with its lengthier replacement early next year.

(CNN) -- A Cambodian couple who separated after 40 years of marriage may have taken things too literally when it came to splitting their assets:

The husband cut the house in two.

"It is the strangest thing I've ever seen," said May Titthara, who wrote about the case for The Phnom Penh Post, an English-language newspaper in the Cambodian capital. "People there never saw this happen in a divorce. It is very interesting for them."

The husband and wife had been living together in the house in a village in the Prey Veng province of southern Cambodia, roughly 50 miles (80 km) from the capital.

The couple would not talk to the newspaper, but the village chief told May Titthara that the husband was angry because his wife wouldn't tend to him when he was ill.

Kenny Johnson, a senior credit analyst for Fox Home Entertainment in Garden Grove, Calif., recently took a hard look at his finances -- and canceled his c-television subscription.

With a newborn child at home and growing household expenses, he says the decision saved him and his wife more than $40 a month -- or roughly the increase he is paying at the gas pump every month for his commute to work. The couple held onto their DSL Internet connection, which costs about $38 a month.

Now the Johnsons access most of their television shows online, through Web sites like Hulu.com, in addition to the free broadcasts they pick up over the airwaves. They also bought a set-top box that allows them to stream shows via Netflix.com to their television set, including episodes of NBC's "The Office" and Showtime's "Weeds."

Uruguay - While most people wish to get paid for doing nothing, a woman has actually sued her employer based on the lack of work given.

According to Spain's 20 Minutes, a city government worker is suing her employer on the claims that she does nothing except "looking at the ceiling" from 8am to 2pm everyday.

Emilia Colman says she has asked her boss for more work but her requests went answered. She is now looking to be compensated on the grounds of "morale damage" and is also asking for an increase in pay.

I'm sitting outside a trendy Brooklyn café chatting with friends. I glance to my left and notice a huge telephoto lens peeking around the corner of the building. The actress Keri Russell is known to hang here, but she's nowhere in sight. That paparazzo is hounding me. And it's no wonder — I paid him to do it.

We live in the age of the candid snapshot. People don't want to pose for glamour photos; they want artful images that look unstaged and off-the-cuff, like a party pic from TheCobrasnake.com or a tousled cover model on Vice magazine. But calculated spontaneity is hard to pull off without the help of a professional. And I wanted some pics of me that say "I look awesome even when I'm not trying." That's where Izaz Rony comes in. The 22-year-old, who credits YouTube, Flickr, and Facebook as inspirations, does guerrilla-style photo shoots for $500 an hour and up. It's like hiring a stalker for a day.

Business 2.0 magazine lost their entire data for June 2007 edition and almost missed out publishing in June due to hard disk crash. However, there are people who thought of making some fun of this situation and have played domino with 1500 hard disks by crashing them at the same time.

(Oct. 1) - It's not your typical mug shot. But then again, this isn't your typical case.

A police photo of an Ohio woman who was arrested while wearing a cow suit has created a buzz on the Internet, making its way around the world, according to oxfordpress.com.

Middletown police say Michelle Allen, 32, was charged with disorderly conduct on Sept. 27 after she was caught impeding traffic and chasing children. Metro.co.uk reports that Allen had been hired to wear the costume to advertise for a local "haunted trail" theme park, but left the job to go on a drinking binge.

Judge Mark Wall sentenced Allen, who also reportedly urinated on a neighbor's front garden during her bender, to 30 days in jail. "Michelle is pretty well known to us. She's 'struggled,' to say the least," Wall told the New York Post.

Stubble is the way to win a woman’s heart, a study has shown. Researchers found that women are more attracted to men with stubbly chins than those with clean-shaven faces or full beards.

Women participating in the research rated men with stubble as tough, mature, aggressive, dominant and masculine - and as the best romantic partners, either for a fling or a long-term relationships.

The findings of the experiment, carried out on British women aged 18 to 44, could explain the appeal of actors such as George Clooney and Brad Pitt who cultivate their unshaven look.

The explanation for the preference is not clear, but experts in human evolution say that that facial hair may be a signal of aggression because it boosts the apparent size of the lower jaw, emphasising the teeth as weapons.
