However, sex outside can be uncomfortable. Grass and insects are no match for a comfortable mattress and the back seat of a car doesn't give you much room for manoeuvre. If you're uncomfortable or concerned about being discovered you're not going to relax enough to enjoy sex.

A British woman could be jailed for up to six years in Dubai after she was allegedly caught having sex on a beach.

The woman, said to be 30, was arrested after a police officer reportedly twice found her having sex with a British man on Jumeirah Beach.

A school in north-east Thailand has introduced toilets for transvestites after a survey showed that more than 200 students saw themselves as transgender, a director said today.

Sitisak Sumontha said he believed the 2,600-student Kampang school, in north-eastern Thailand, was the first secondary to introduce unisex toilets.

Army sergeant Laci Marinho de Araújo, revealed that he was gay in an interview with a national news magazine, Epoca, which featured the story on its front page.
