I'm not sure I know what species he is - somewhere between owl and bear would be my guess, but what does it matter when he's so well turned out? Full instructions follow after the jump.
In this post, I’ll cover the basic “flat” seaming: vertical, horizontal, and vertical-to-horizontal mattress stitch. Then I’ll demonstrate how to use mattress stitch to sew on a 3-dimensional limb, such as an arm, and also how to sew on a limb at an angle. (I’m not going to do any techniques for garter stitch, since I rarely use it in my toys.)

<clipSource>http://mochimochiland.com/weblog/?p=254</clipSource>

Lingerie/Shoe/Project Bag Tutorial

clipped by: ricecake
clipper's remarks: click over to read how to make them

Clip Source: sommerdesigns.typepad.com

I came across a bunch of lingerie bags

I've used them in many ways other than their intended purpose. I loved this pattern and after I finished the first one, I wanted the second one immediately. However, once I cast-on for the second mitten, it lagged at only an inch long for like 3 days. Why you ask?

The knitted braid! On the first mitten, I did the braid twice and when I reached the third braid, I ended up doing a purl round instead. It’s just that every time I went do do one of those braids, it took me like an hour to make it around. Definitely fidly knitting.

So. There I was on my second mitten, contemplating how I can make the mittens match but get to the “fun” fair-isle parts of the mitten faster. Suddenly, I had it! A slipped line of crochet stitches. The best part is that you can join the braid seamlessly!

<clipSource>http://allbuttonedup.wordpress.com/2008/01/27/braids-made-easy/</clipSource>

Zipper in Your Pillow?

clipped by: ricecake
clipper's remarks: Part Nineteen

Clip Source: www.houseonhillroad.com

Clip the corners.
