In November 1998, the British science journal Nature published the results of Dr. Eugene Foster's DNA Study. This study resulted in a great deal of controversy on the issue of Thomas Jefferson's paternity of the children of his slave Sally Hemings.

There are many people who feel this DNA study, either alone or combined with other historical evidence, resolves the issue once and for all. The Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation issued a report in January 2000 concluding that there is a strong likelihood that Thomas Jefferson was the father of at least one and perhaps all the children of Sally Hemings.

These resolutions and conclusions are based on subjective and incomplete historical information. This web site was created to provide the misinformed public with the other side of the story and to highlight information that tends to exonerate Thomas Jefferson of these allegations.

Last month, researchers from the University of Wisconsin released a report showing evidence that Guinness really is good for you. The study revealed that a pint of the black stuff a day may work as well as an aspirin to prevent heart clots that raise the risk of heart attacks.

The scientists tested their theory on two groups of dogs who had narrowed arteries similar to those in heart disease. The first group was given stout and the second group was given lager. They found that those given the Guinness had reduced clotting activity in their blood, but not those given lager.

They believe that "antioxidant compounds" in the Guinness, similar to those found in certain fruits and vegetables, are responsible for the health benefits because they slow down the deposit of harmful cholesterol on the artery walls.

We are looking to hire a few midgets to walk around in a Sombrero hat that has chips and salsa in it just to walk around while we munch of some chips and salsa. We're not doing strippers for this party so the next best thing is midgets. If you are a midget or you know someone that is a midget, contact me and we'll see what we can work out. We have 18 guys on the list so we may need two midgets or one regular size person. The dates are the weekend of June 20 - 22, Friday or Saturday night would work.

PHOENIX -- Strange lights appeared above the Valley sky in various formations Monday night.

Witnesses reported the lights formed a vertical line, then a diamond shape, followed by a u-shape.
