Now that he's pretty much screwed, McCain's true colors are manifest. Given a choice between losing with class or instilling honest-to-God hatred in his supporters, McCain chooses the latter.

See also; McCain steps up character attack on Obama.

Clip Source: rawstory.com

Shouts of "terrorist" and even accusations of "treason" aimed at Barack Obama have echoed around Republican rallies, whipped up into alarming, hate-filled frenzies against the Democratic White House hopeful.

Republican presidential nominee John McCain has taken to asking, "Who is the real Barack Obama?" at rallies this week, leading one supporter in Pennsylvania, a blue-collar battleground state to shout back, "he is a bomb."

Chants of "Nobama, Nobama" mingled with cries of "terrorist," as one banner in the crowd declared: "Go ahead, let the dogs out."

The stream of vicious attacks against Obama, who has left McCain trailing in the polls, were ramped at the weekend by Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin who accused the Chicago senator of "palling around with terrorists."

Now when she mentions Obama, some of the crowds' responses have escalated beyond boos and hisses, and there are fears among some observers that the attacks are going too far.

Tags: news

<clipSource>http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Inflammatory_Republican_rallies_raise_concerns_1009.html</clipSource>

Madame Palin Meet Mr. Mirror

clipped by: ratilfar
clipper's remarks: Not for the factually or logically adverse, nor those who believe that reality is an alien (and commie) concept.

Clip Source: www.youtube.com

[Video]

Clip Source: www.youtube.com

[Video]

Tags: olberman, youg turks, video, youtube, special comment, palin, mccain, politics

<clipSource>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxGZ9mc5Rkw</clipSource>

Disgruntled American Seeks Canadian For Political Asylum, Maybe More

clipped by: swampfoxz
clipper's remarks: * IT Professional, skilled with computers, can fix yours.
* Will get whatever job(s) available to help support us.
* From Washington State, appreciates nature.
* Willing to learn French.
* Polite, working on being more humble.
* Hates littering.
* Will pet your cat(s)/dog(s) and tell you how cute it is.
* Enjoys Rush.
* Can fake an interest in hockey.
* Knows the first line to the Canadian National Anthem.
* Will do whatever it takes to get the fuck out of here.

What You're All Aboot:

* Canadian.
* 18-50 year old female.
* Willing to marry me for citizenship.

So there you have it ladies! The last 8 years have been a nightmare of perpetual motion. The presidential election is almost a month away, but let's face it. If Bush's cronies were able to set him up for two terms, then McCain and Palin are practically a shoo-in. When that happens (and it will, just you watch) I would rather be somewhere else. Like The Great White North!

Are you a lonely, possibly desperate Canadian woman aged 18-50? Maybe you're a bit overweight or suffer from "Lifelong Ugly Duckling" syndrome. See the list and lyrics at the site. I couldn't get through life without music as a backdrop. Where would we be without it? If you need a rest from politics, just copy/paste a title and go youtubing. Even sad songs can make you happy.

I heard this song when I was a little girl and my Dad told me it was about a dog (that probably drowned) and I bawled my eyes out! I still do!
<br/

Anyway, remember.         Of All Time!

The odd thing about sad songs is that they can be happy
                          songs as well. That song that meant everything good
                          with the old girlfriend can make you cry with the opening
                          notes today.

Sometimes that sad song can indicate an upcoming hope,
                          or desire to to climb out of that sad situation. I've
                          always believed that without the sad stuff, we'd never
                          appreciate the good stuff.

Everything ever created by man has been made so by some

His most conspicuous economic adviser is Douglas Holtz-Eakin, who previously headed the Congressional Budget Office. There he was an impediment to conservatives, including then-Rep. Cox, who, as chairman of the Republican Policy Committee, persistently tried and generally failed to enlist CBO support for "dynamic scoring" that would estimate the economic growth effects of proposed tax cuts.

In any case, McCain's smear — that Cox "betrayed the public's trust" — is a harbinger of a McCain presidency. For McCain, politics is always operatic, pitting people who agree with him against those who are "corrupt" or "betray the public's trust," two categories that seem to be exhaustive — there are no other people. McCain's Manichaean worldview drove him to his signature legislative achievement, the McCain-Feingold law's restrictions on campaigning. Today, his campaign is creatively finding interstices in laws intended to re

Clip Source: jewishworldreview.com

Under the pressure of the financial crisis, one presidential candidate is behaving like a flustered rookie playing in a league too high. It is not Barack Obama.

Channeling his inner Queen of Hearts, John McCain furiously, and apparently without even looking around at facts, said Chris Cox, chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, should be decapitated. This childish reflex provoked the Wall Street Journal to editorialize that "McCain untethered" — disconnected from knowledge and principle — had made a "false and deeply unfair" attack on Cox that was "unpresidential" and demonstrated that McCain "doesn't understand what's happening on Wall Street any better than Barack Obama does."

<clipSource>http://jewishworldreview.com/cols/will092308.php3</clipSource>

Boy wreaks zoo havoc while feeding croc

clipped by: Kelika
clipper's remarks: "The boy was unknown at the center and had "clammed up" when questioned by police on what sparked the rampage, he said.

Neindorf said he was now looking at suing the parents of the pint-sized terror, who could easily have been taken by Terry himself as he fed the croc from a small landing at his enclosure.

"We'll be looking at suing the parents, who were supposedly in control of him at the time," he said."

Clip Source: news.yahoo.com

The parents of a 7-year-old boy who broke into an Australian outback zoo and fed a string of small animals to its resident crocodile are likely to be sued after police said the boy was too young to be held responsible.

What bothers me about Rush's ilk is that they don't actually have the stones to be real racists or women haters or anti- Semites. Though they irresponsibly fan the flames of hatred, they don't own the strength of their convictions. When they are called on their stuff they run back to their bunker, which is heavily fortified for a reason, crying "but it was only a joke!"

Like when Rush joked that Obama was a "haf-rican," or when he jested that Obama was a "magical negro."

Oh, the hilarity.

Be a man, Rush. Be a hateful man, but be a man instead of a pasty- lookin' crackhead drug addict whose wives keep ditching him 'cause he's impotent.

That last bit was just satire, of course, so please don't take it out of context.

Clip Source: www.huffingtonpost.com

Rush Limbaugh Hates Mexicans (But in a Funny Way)!

Rush is upset that the Obama camp is portraying him as being a bigot.

By quoting a bigoted statement he's made.

The Obama campaign is running new Spanish language ads in Colorado, Nevada and New Mexico which quote Limbaugh as using the phrase "stupid and unskilled Mexicans" and telling Mexicans to "shut your mouth, or get out" of America.

In his WSJ piece Limbaugh doesn't deny making the statements. They stand still! This is an important part of white concert going as it enables you to focus on the music, and it will prevent drawing excess attention to you

Music is very important to white people. It truly is the soundtrack to their lives, meaning that white people are constantly thinking about what songs would be on the soundtrack for the biopic. The problem is that most of the music that white people like isn’t really dance-friendly. More often the songs are about pain, or love, or breaking up with someone, or not being able to date someone, or death.

If you find yourself invited to a concert with a white person, do NOT expect to dance. Prepare yourself for three hours of standing reasonably still.

Although it is acceptable to occasionally raise one hand and point just above the stage.

Note: the addition of the drug ecstasy changes everything.

<clipSource>http://stuffwhitepeoplelike.com/2008/02/17/68-standing-still-at-concerts/</clipSource>

glory hole

clipped by: lbalasa

Clip Source: www.listropolis.com

Glory Hole - Monticello Dam, California

A glory hole is used when a dam is at full capacity and water needs to be drained from the reservoir. In addition to hosting videos, photos, and music you upload directly to the site, Oosah also integrates with Flickr, Picasa Web Albums, Facebook, and YouTube. Once you've connected your accounts, you can actually drag and drop photos between webapps—so, for example, if you uploaded a photo to Oosah that you wanted to add to a Flickr set, you can just drag and drop it onto Flickr in the sidebar. Oosah does have its limitations: Apart from hosting media only (no documents or executables here), you're limited to 200MB per video and 9MB per audio file.

You can grab direct links to share any of the files with friends and create and listen to playlists inline. Naturally, the main draw of Oosah is its ridiculous 1TB of storage space, which is unprecedented in the free realm.

Oosah [via Download Squad]

<clipSource>http://lifehacker.com/5051863/oosah-hosts-up-to-1tb-of-media-online-for-free</clipSource>
