Anti-War Grandmothers Set To Appear In Court On Disorderly Conduct Charges

The anti-war grandmothers arrested during a protest in Times Square last month will get their day in court Tuesday.

The group of 18 women - ages 49 to 90 - were arrested after they tried to enlist at the military recruiting station at Times Square.

All are facing disorderly conduct charges. They plan to hold a news conference Tuesday before the hearing.

SEVENTEEN suspected terrorists rounded up in raids across Sydney and Melbourne allegedly planned to wage a holy war against Australia using hundreds of litres of explosive chemicals.

Detectives have had the group under surveillance since last June but decided to take them down after they ordered large stockpiles of chemicals.
