For example, XOXOXO translates to hugs and kisses. “PI” represents “politically incorrect.” Just as LOL stands for “laugh out loud.” Today, you can find Internet language dictionaries at the touch of your keyboard. This is yet another way to condense your messages without losing the message. Netlingo.com is one of many excellent sources of Internet speak, so check it out.

Tags: twitter, language, tips

<clipSource>http://undeniableme.wordpress.com/2009/07/14/a-zen-tweet-tips-to-build-a-dynamic-twitter-dynasty/</clipSource>

Google Presentations

clipped by: rachelreed
clipper's remarks: Add presentations to your LinkedIn profile.

Clip Source: www.linkedin.com

Google presentations are a professional way to introduce yourself and your work.
The great thing about a video resume it's only part of the process, but indeed the last pass you do before bringing someone in is look at their personality.
Most hiring managers hire on personality as much if not more than someones paper resume.

Tags: video resume

<clipSource>http://www.jobsearchmarketing.com/2008/02/not-the-biggest.html</clipSource>

Video Resume

clipped by: rachelreed
clipper's remarks: how to | tips

Clip Source: www.resume-help.org

Video resumes are a
great option for out-of-town candidates, those who have
unique skills or products to showcase, and others who want
to show, instead of tell, what they do well.

Basically it involves producing a 1-5 minute spot
highlighting your skill set. For a video resume, if you can
detail some actual examples of previous on-the-job successes
and emphasize qualities that fit employers' needs, that is
ideal. Also, if you have footage of yourself performing a
job that is particularly visual, such as leading a seminar,
conducting a meeting or even being presented an award,
 consider adding it.

Tags: video resume

<clipSource>http://www.resume-help.org/video_resume.htm</clipSource>

Craigslist markeing tip - repost every 48 hours

clipped by: rachelreed

Clip Source: mathewguiver.com

CraigsList allows you to repost an ad after 48 hours. However, if you are trying to advertise your legal services you will probably want to get into the habit of reposting your ad every other day.

Tags: craigslist, marketing, tip, strategy, create online ads

<clipSource>http://mathewguiver.com/2008/01/03/10-tips-for-an-effective-craigslist-campaign/</clipSource>

Tweet Later feature: Keyword Alerts

clipped by: rachelreed

Clip Source: smartboydesigns.com

Keyword Alerts

Another area in TweetLater I’ve found to be very beneficial is the Keyword Alert digests. (http://www.tweetlater.com/alerts)

You’re given the option to type a list of keywords you’re interested in, and then select how often throughout the day this digest is sent to your inbox. You’re then mailed a list of tweets pertaining to those keywords. This is an invaluable tool, and certainly aides in finding relevant conversations to join in on. One of the greatest ways of producing connectivity and contacts through Twitter is helping others. Implement keywords related to your niche, or talents you’re proficient in – and give advice and input on others problems.

Tags: twitter tweetlater feature tools

<clipSource>http://smartboydesigns.com/2009/05/19/boost-productivity-part-2-automate-twitter/</clipSource>

Tweet Later feature: Auto Follow

clipped by: rachelreed

Clip Source: smartboydesigns.com

Auto Follow

The next area in your account settings to check is the Auto Follow option. This will allow TweetLater to automatically follower new followers. For myself, this is an important feature. I have a policy of following back all my followers. I feel that if they’re taking the time to read my Tweets – I’d like to reciprocate and do the same. Although some might not need this feature, it definately takes a chunk out of my Twitter tasks – as I don’t need to manually follow back all my new followers each and every day. Another benefit to the TweetLater system.

<clipSource>http://smartboydesigns.com/2009/05/19/boost-productivity-part-2-automate-twitter/</clipSource>

Tweet Later feature: Auto Welcome DM

clipped by: rachelreed

Clip Source: smartboydesigns.com

Auto Welcome DM

The first option I’d recommend checking under your Twitter profile settings in TweetLater is the ability to send out Automatic Welcome DMs. This will allow TweetLater to send a welcome direct message automatically to any of your new followers.

In creating this welcome message – proceed with caution. It’s important that the message is to-the-point, helpful, and not spammy. You don’t want to sell your new follower something, right from the start of your relationship. That’s not a good friendship. My welcome message, for example, looks something like this.

Thank you for following. Looking forward to helping u with any SEO, Design or Blog problems you may have. Message me anytime. – Smart Boy

Tags: twitter tweetlater tool feature

<clipSource>http://smartboydesigns.com/2009/05/19/boost-productivity-part-2-automate-twitter/</clipSource>

Tweet Later pro features

clipped by: rachelreed

Clip Source: drewgriffin.net

Manage all your Twitter accounts — One integrated console!
