Officials: Middle School Students Caught In Sex Act In Class

HOUSTON -- Some parents in Fort Bend County are outraged after their children said they witnessed a pair of eighth-graders engaged in a sex act, right in the middle of class.

Parents told KPRC Local 2 that they received the unsettling news about an incident at Crockett Middle School in a letter that went home on Friday.

"My mouth flew open when you told me just a few minutes ago," Lubergha Munson said. "I didn't expect you to say anything like that. I thought you were going to say they were fighting or something."

The principal reported that the students, a boy and a girl, made inappropriate sexual contact with each other while other students watched.

Who needs a penis?

When touring Ireland recently we pulled up at a cliff-top car park to capture the sun setting over a spectacular scene of islands and ocean. There was another guy there with a camera so, as guys do, I made conversation about boys' toys by asking what model he had. It was a Canon EOS 350 SLR, which is quite decent. I commented that I had a D20, also a Canon SLR. His face hardened as he eyed my camera and clearly knew that it cost somewhat more than his. 'Well, it's the brains behind the camera' he muttered as he set up his tripod and remote trigger.

Oops. I realized then I had stumbled into a game of 'my penis is bigger than yours'.

My wife was with me and laughed at the boys' games, which annoyed the other chaps further, not the least because I had brought a woman into a place of male ritual. I was amused too, also knowing that having a wife who is still fun after 31 years would also gain me status points.

South Korea to host conference on condom size

South Korean firms, led by Unidus, account for about 30% of global condom sales.

The Commerce Ministry's standardisation agency expects 100 people from 50 nations to take part, agency spokesperson Yoo Yong-Jae said.

"Demand has been growing for years for unified international standards on the size and quality of condoms to ensure users are protected from disease and women from pregnancy," Unidus chief Kim Sung-Hoon said.

"The size of South Korean condoms now meets international standards, helped by an increase in the size of men's penises here," he was quoted as saying.

Globally, 80 major companies are capable of producing 12-billion condoms a year, but annual demand is just eight billion, he said.

Citing the good quality of South Korean condoms, he said his company would lobby for the World Health Organisation and other participants to adopt Korean standards. -- AF

Southwest Airlines makes man change T-shirt

TAMPA, Florida (AP) -- Southwest Airlines said it will apologize to a passenger who was told he would be removed from a flight if he didn't change clothes, the second time in recent months the budget carrier has been forced to do so.

Joe Winiecki, of Largo, Florida, boarded a Southwest flight in Columbus, Ohio, wearing a fictional fishing shop T-shirt which featured the words, "Master Baiter."

Winiecki, who was traveling home, said he was in his seat when an employee told him he had to change his T-shirt, turn it inside out, or get off the plane.

Winiecki protested that the airline was infringing on his right to free speech, but changed his shirt fearing he would miss the flight and a day's work.

Southwest spokesman Chris Mainz said Friday the employee made a mistake because the Dallas-based airline does not have a dress code.
