While properly traversing Europe's fourth largest country (when measured by total area) would take weeks—or even months, an easy alternative is taking The Local's virtual tour of Sweden as seen from a series of webcam

While no replacement for an actual visit, the tour does give readers a small taste of how much of Sweden looks with just a few clicks of the mouse.

Our virtual journey starts up north in Jukkasjärvi, which rests above the Arctic Circle and is home to the world-famous Ice Hotel.

Nice sculptures made with toothpicks. Those which you are going to see on pictures are made by Steven Backman. For some of those sculptures really needed some time. For the example, for this wooden boat it was needed about 6000 toothpicks, but for the beautiful, amazing, cool, remarkable golden gate bridge it was used 30000 toothpicks and took more then a two years for construction. But it was worth of it, don’t you think so? There are also a few more cool and interesting sculptures.

Brain reacts to fairness as it does to money and chocolate

The human brain responds to being treated fairly the same way it responds to winning money and eating chocolate, UCLA scientists report. Being treated fairly turns on the brain's reward circuitry.

"We may be hard-wired to treat fairness as a reward," said study co-author Matthew D. Lieberman, UCLA associate professor of psychology and a founder of social cognitive neuroscience.

"Receiving a fair offer activates the same brain circuitry as when we eat craved food, win money or see a beautiful face," said Golnaz Tabibnia, a postdoctoral scholar at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA and lead author of the study, which appears in the April issue of the journal Psychological Science.

"Fairness is activating the same part of the brain that responds to food in rats," she said. This is consistent with the notion that being treated fairly satisfies a basic need, she added.

Some of the icons have human faces, but most of the icons are just icons, without any human face! There are baby icons, smiling icons, raging icons, flowery icons, frowning icons and fantastic icons…in the sea of such multitude of icons; you try to find your own special space for your own special icon!

May be, that's what makes everything so special and so interesting about these websites! It becomes such a beautiful paradox that we think we know a lot about way too many people from far away places, but then again, we don't know any of them or anything worthwhile about any one of them: that makes the networking experience so unique and wonderful!

We know people from Canada, Japan, Poland, Russia, USA (of course!), India, Singapore and Austria…and then we don't know anyone from anywhere at all!
