Nymphaea caerulea ... contains an anti-spasmotic called Nuciferin, and likely contains aporphine... Dosage: Probably about 3-5 flowers, or about 5g. Method: Eat (put in capsules; takes longer) or make "tea (use about 20-25oz of water to get maximum content)." Effects: The history of this species says that is appears to be a hypnotic sedative ... Everything seems to refute the idea of this being MDMA-like... It is much like cannabis, codeine or propoxyphene; maybe a little hallucinatory (at higher doses) - but mainly hypnotic like cannabis/opiods.

The blue water lily was possibly also a symbol of sexuality - Dr Liz Williamson says that the flower "has a sort of Viagra effect". Women were wooed with the blue water lily. The Mazatecs of Central Mexico use this herb only with a clear intent and purpose. It is always used under the supervision of an experienced shaman. It is used this way for good reasons. Since Mazatec shamans are probably not available to guide you through your own Salvia divinorum experiments, it is essential that you thoroughly educate yourself before deciding to work with it. Talk to others who are already experienced with its effects, read books, and read the information available at the Salvia divinorum Research and Information Center.

<clipSource>http://www.sagewisdom.org/salviashop.html</clipSource>

gliders

clipped by: missykiss

Clip Source: www.sugar-gliders.com

I like to think that most of us are honest people, but I’ve had local people come by with gliders they were told were 8 weeks old and because of my experience, I can tell they are really only 4-5 weeks old.
If you get gliders too young, the risk of them dying on you early is greatly increased.
So here are some general guidelines that should apply in most cases.

If you have an average sized hand, the body length (not including the tail) should be about the width of your hand, or slightly longer.
If the body is smaller than the width of your hand, that baby may be too young.
Also, the hair on the tail should be fluffy and full. If the fur is laying somewhat flat on the tail, that baby is definitely too young.
Tails start getting pretty fluffy around 6 weeks out of pouch age, so flat tail hair is a sure sign
the joey is too young to be leaving home.

"The 1990 study was conducted at the height of the 'satanic panic,' which kept many neopagans in the closet."

While some subsets don't believe in gods, others, like Wiccans, worship many gods and goddesses. Women, in fact, are revered as the bearers of life in Wicca.

<clipSource>http://www.modbee.com/life/faithvalues/story/287826.html</clipSource>
