Their dogs always followed them, but on this occasion a Mountain Lion decided that he wanted to stalk the dogs (you'll see the dogs in the background watching). Very, very bad decision...

The hunter got off the mule with his rifle and decided to shoot in the air to scare away the lion, but before he could get off a shot the lion charged in and decided he wanted a piece of those dogs. With that, the mule took off and decided he wanted a piece of that lion. That's when all hell broke loose... for the lion.

As the lion approached the dogs the mule snatched him up by the tail and started whirling him around. Banging its head on the ground on every pass. Then he dropped it, stomped on it and held it to the ground by the throat. The mule then got down on his knees and bit the thing all over a couple of dozen times to make sure it was dead, than whipped it into the air again, walked back over to the couple (that were stunned in silence) and stood there ready to continue his ride... as if nothing had just happened.

Fortunately even though the hunter didn't get off a shot, his wife got off these 4...
(AP) — An American Airlines flight was forced to make
an emergency landing Monday morning after a passenger lit a match to
disguise the scent of flatulence, authorities said.
The Dallas-bound flight was diverted to Nashville after several
passengers reported smelling burning sulfur from the matches, said Lynne
Lowrance, spokeswoman for the Nashville International Airport Authority.
All 99 passengers and five crew members were taken off and screened
while the plane was searched and luggage was screened.
The FBI questioned a passenger who admitted she struck the matches in an
attempt to conceal a "body odor," Lowrance said. She had an unspecified
medical condition, authorities said.
"It's humorous in a way but you feel sorry for the individual, as well,"
she said. "It's unusual that someone would go to those measures to cover
it up."
The flight took off again, but the woman was not allowed back on the
plane. The woman, who was not identified, was not charged in the incident.

Tags: match, flatulance

<clipSource>http://us.f905.mail.yahoo.com/dc/blank.html?bn=314.41</clipSource>

PS3 Ripoff

clipped by: michaelp8291

Clip Source: www.wii60.com

Tags: ps3, wii

<clipSource>http://www.wii60.com/uploads/908.jpg</clipSource>

And yet I still want one...

clipped by: michaelp8291

Clip Source: www.wiinjuries.net

The Nintendo Wii is proving to be a smashing success. The system is flying off store shelves - and out of players hands as well. Television sets and windows around the globe are shattering as sweaty palmed gamers are throwing their controllers accidentally into just about everything imaginable.

Tags: wii, nintendo, controller

<clipSource>http://www.wiinjuries.net/</clipSource>

Nest of Trouble

clipped by: michaelp8291

Clip Source: www.snopes.com

Light crew putting in lines for an addition to the Orlando International Airport found the following in a culvert they were using...

looking west to Manhattan, about 20 minutes after the second
strike. It seems hard to believe now, but I didn't realize anything
had happened until I was leaving for work. I walked into the bedroom
to turn off the radio and heard the announcer say something about
an airplane hitting a building. I turned on the TV and saw an image
(I wondered if it is the road featured in the old French movie, WAGES OF FEAR - about driving a truck load of explosives over one of the most dangerous roads in the world. From the abstracts of the reviews I posted at the end of this, it appears that it was not, but since the director had spent time in South America, it was, perhaps his inspiration. I strongly recommend "THE WAGES OF FEAR" to anyone who wants to watch a great 1950's suspense movie in B&W, with Yves Montant).
Surprisingly this is not the Himalayas. For all my travel buddies who have survived Himalayan bus trips, here is a bird's eye view of the horror.
The road is located in the South American country of Bolivia.
It consists of 43 miles (70 km) of dirt and rock heading north from La Paz, the world's highest capitol (altitude 12,000 feet or 3,660 ?m), to Coroico, a beautiful cloud forest town at the rim of the Amazon
basin.
Its catchy nickname is due to the 26 vehicles that fall off the road per year. About 200 people annually lose their lives here.
A fatal accident every fortnight is not uncommon on the Coroico road (the July disaster brought the death toll during the previous eight months to 55 and in 1995 the Inter-American Development Bank
declared this, the world's most dangerous road.
The only road that exists to get to the Amazon from La Paz, it is carved into the sides of a canyon. It can have vertical drops for 1,600 feet and has no guardrails.

Consequently, most Bolivians take the time to pray before their descent. After all, it could be their last.
