Gibson County, Christmas Tournament

Saw GC girls defeat Bradford. Tight game with a lot of hard nosed play and a lot of turnovers. Butler has improved her ball handling since I saw her in the spring. She pretty much beat Bradford with her defense and driving to the basket. She would have been a nice fit anywhere, but put her with Milan next year along with Poston, Gray and others would be awful tough. So much for that. She hopefully will have some better talent surounding her soon.
Bradford girls are playing better every time I see them. They need a couple of people that can score and look out.

Missing woman found dead behind bookcase

Family thinks she fell over trying to adjust TV plug 11 days before discovery

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. - A woman's body was found wedged upside-down behind a bookcase in the home she shared with relatives who had spent nearly two weeks looking for her.

A spokesman for the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said Mariesa Weber's death was not suspicious. Family members said they believe she fell over as she tried to adjust the plug of a television behind the bookshelf.

Weber, 38, returned home Oct. 28 and greeted her mother, then was not seen again. Her family thought she had been kidnapped and contacted authorities. Family members scoured her room for clues but found nothing, though they did notice a strange smell.

Late one night Weber's sister went into her bedroom and looked behind a bookcase, where she saw the woman's foot. Using a flashlight the family saw Weber was wedged upside-down behind the unit.

"I'm sleeping in the same house as her for 11 days, looking for her," her mother, Connie Weber, told the St. Petersburg Times. "And she's right in the bedroom."

Both Weber and her sister had previously adjusted the television plug by standing on a bureau next to the shelf and leaning over the top. Her family believes Weber, who was 5-foot-3 and barely 100 pounds, may have fallen headfirst into the space.

"She's a little thing," her mother said. "And the bookcase is 6 feet tall and solid. And she couldn't get out."

The sheriff's office said Weber appeared to have died because she was unable to breathe in the position she was in.

If you send/receive big files frequently and do so among friends then instead of using above ones I recommend to install one of the following programs, either of which is free and user friendly in its own way.

AllPeers

AllPeers is a firefox(review here) plugin that lets you easily send/receive files among friends. After installing it you get small allpeers icon on your browser, which opens so called navigator menu displaying list of contacts on the side of your browser window. To send file all you need to do is drag and drop it over the contact name. And because in this case file transfer takes place directly between your pc and recipient, there is no limitations on file size. Download(Mac/Windows)

This extension allows you to use your Gmail Space (2.5 GB and growing) for file storage. It acts as an online drive, so you can upload files from your hard drive and access them from every Internet capable system. The interface will make your Gmail account look like a FTP host.

After the installation, you'll get an option called "GSpace" in your "Tools" menu, which opens the GSpace window.

It's great for storing/sharing files with your friends. Also very good to backup photos and music files (as you can view/listen to them from Gspace).

Heather Butler, freshman pg, is doing VERYYYYY WELL to be starting as a freshman..Jennalee Pate has been doing pretty well..Donya Webb also..this will more than likely be a rebuilding year for Gibson Co. as we only have 2 seniors this year..I already know that Obion Co. Central will be a force this year lol so I'm knowing what to expect from them..it'll be a fun game with Roney leading OC

Expect a physical game. Butler is as good as freshman get. If she and Hurley can handle the press, the whole game and GC can find enough offense, it could be close. Russell coached teams do not usually beat themselves. Pate and Webb are enough inside, GC will need the outside shot to fall, to stay in contention. OC also has so much depth, fatique could be a factor in the 2nd half.

Gibson Co. has shot very few three pointers this year..we mostly rely on the inside game but dont get me wrong we can still shoot the 3 point shot...also not many of Russell's teams get too fatigue in the second half he usually has them in pretty good shape...Good Luck!
