In Lebanon, men are legally allowed to have sex with animals, but the animals must be female. Having sexual relations with a male animal is punishable by death. (Like THAT makes sense.)

In Bahrain, a male doctor may legally examine a woman's genitals, but is prohibited from looking directly at them during theexamination. He may only see their reflection in a mirror.

Muslims are banned from looking at the genitals of a corpse. This also applies to undertakers; the sex organs of the deceased must be covered with a brick or piece of wood at all times.

In Hong Kong, a betrayed wife is legally allowed to kill her adulterous husband, but may only do so with her bare hands.!! The husband's lover, on the other hand, may be killed in any manner desired. (Ah! Justice!)

EYE SURGEONS IN Holland have found a way to implant tiny pieces of jewellery - in your eyeballs.

Dutch eye surgeons have implanted tiny pieces of jewellery called "JewelEye" in the mucous membrane of the eyes of six women and one man in cosmetic surgery pioneered by an ophthalmic surgery research and development institute in Rotterdam.

The bits of jewellery are about 4mm wide and come in half-moon or heart shapes.

They are put into the eye's mucous membrane under local anaesthetic. It costs between £270 and £540.

'In my view it is a little more subtle than (body) piercing. It is a bit of a fun thing and a very personal thing for people,' said Gerrit Melles, director of the Netherlands Institute for Innovative Ocular Surgery. The piece of jewellery is inserted in the conjunctiva -- the mucous membrane lining the inner surface of the eyelids and front of the eyeball - in sterile conditions using an operating microscope in a procedure taking about 15 minutes.

Refrigerator-Sized Chunk of Ice Crushes Car in Florida

TAMPA — It's a bird, it's a plane, it's... a refrigerator-sized chunk of ice?

A Hillsborough County resident's Ford Mustang was destroyed by just that Sunday, when a large slab of ice fell from the clear Florida sky directly onto the automobile, WTVT reports.

A neighbor of the resident who's now down a car told the local FOX affiliate that there was whooshing sound around 9 a.m. EST. Just moments later, he saw the car get crushed by ice.

Neighbors speculated the block of ice weighed at least 50 pounds.

No injuries were reported, and the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said it is investigating.

Federal Aviation Administration and local airport officials told WTVT they are unsure if a plane could be faulted for the incident.

This latest incident comes less than two weeks ago something similar happened in Philadelphia.

A chunk of ice believed to have come from a passing airliner fell through the roof of home in the Pennsylvania suburb. No one was injured, but a mother and her 4-year-old daughter were home at the time. The FAA is currently investigating that incident.

CHANGZHOU, China: A baby was trapped down a toilet for more than seven hours after being born prematurely.

The mum was crouched over the hole-in-the-floor toilet when her waters broke - and the baby popped out and plunged out of sight, its umbilical cord still attached.

The mum screamed for help and doctors, plumbers and firemen raced against time to save the baby. A special camera was put into the drain to check the child's position, and it was carefully pulled free.

The baby was resuscitated and rushed to hospital in Changzhou, where he and his mother are reported to be doing well.

DAYTON, Ohio - A woman suspected of killing her month-old daughter in a microwave oven pleaded not guilty to murder today.

China Arnold, 26, remained in the Montgomery County Jail for the video arraignment. Montgomery County Common Pleas Judge John Kessler kept her bond at $1 million.

Prosecutors, who plan to seek the death penalty if Arnold is convicted, had asked Kessler to hold her without bond, saying she has a criminal record and is a flight risk. Defense attorney Jon Paul Rion argued that the bond should be reduced, saying Arnold is a loving mother who has cooperated with police.

Arnold stood with her hands behind her back, slowly shaking her head during the arraignment. She winced when Kessler announced her bond.

The baby, Paris Talley, died Aug. 30, 2005. Arnold has three other children, boys ages 9, 7 and 4.

The coroner concluded that the injuries could have only been caused by the baby being cooked in a microwave oven, according to Montgomery County Prosecutor Mathias Heck Jr. Investigators have said evidence that includes high-heat internal injuries and the absence of external burn marks on the baby.
