The film is to be a follow-up to his 2004 "Fahrenheit 9/11" and is scheduled for release in 2009.

Paramount Vantage said it will be launching the film into the international marketplace this week in Cannes

The announcement was made Tuesday by Moore; Nick Meyer, president of Paramount Vantage; John Lesher, president of Paramount Film Group, and CEO Chris McGurk and COO Danny Rosett of Overture Films

"It's great to be working again with Chris McGurk and John Lesher," Moore said in a statement. "Both of them have been exceptional to work with in the past and I look forward to their assistance in this new project."

"We are thrilled to be working with Michael again," McGurk and Rosett said in a joint statement. "His fearless filmmaking has become an important catalyst for challenging mainstream thoughts and values regarding the important critical issues facing this country and the world. Everyone on the Overture team is delighted to be involved with Michael's exciting new film."

Most certainly a scientific investigation is called for to examine the scientific facts surrounding the probable implosion of WTC 7.

WTC 7 Not Mentioned in Official 9-11 Report
Please carefully consider that WTC 7 was not hit by an aircraft on 9-11, was not attacked by terrorists, and only small fires that were not spreading and were contained on only one side of the building on the 12th floor were observed, yet the entire 47 story tall concrete and steel skyscraper building "buckled" in the center, penthouse first, then came straight down very quickly in a mere 6.5 seconds at free fall, not impeded in any manner whatsoever by any of the numerous floors below, imploding from within precisely into it's own footprints, the concrete pulverized and vaporized into toxic dust and powder, resulting in huge, billowing, pyroclastic clouds, and the massive steel core columns (18) cut and hurled horizontally, a truly perfect, classic example of a building brought down with deliberate purpose, and with a very high degree of advanced professional skills and substantial expert experience in a controlled fashion.

Transformer explosion rocks midtown Manhattan

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A transformer exploded in midtown Manhattan on Wednesday, creating a roar and a huge plume of smoke and sending pedestrians fleeing from the area in scenes reminiscent of the September 11 attacks.

In Washington, a U.S. Department of Homeland Security official said there was no apparent link to terrorism.

Officials said a ruptured steam pipe appeared to have caused the transformer to blow.

This is not a terrorist-related incident. It's a steam explosion," said Deputy New York Police Department Commissioner Paul Browne.

The explosion erupted during the evening **** hour in one of the busiest sections of New York City, near the transportation hub of Grand Central station.

A loud constant roar rang out through the streets.

French official suggested Bush was behind September 11

PARIS (Reuters) - A senior French politician, now a minister in President Nicolas Sarkozy's government, suggested last year that U.S. President George W. Bush might have been behind the September 11, 2001 attacks, according to a website.

Asked in an interview last November, before she became minister, whether she thought Bush might be behind the attacks, Boutin says: "I think it is possible. I think it is possible."

I tell myself that this expression of the masses and of the people cannot be without any truth."

Boutin's office sought to play down the remarks, saying that later in the same interview she says: "I'm not telling you that I adhere to that position."

Fireman Lou Cacchioli was the first to grab me by the heart, mind and soul with his isolated courage by simply telling the truth about what he experienced to the only media that cared to ask about his eyewitness account of 9/11 on July 19, 2005. In the Arctic Beacon article, by Greg Szymanski, he related his observations during the efforts to save as many as he could with little regard for personal safety: "...there were bombs...elevator doors completely blown out... we heard this huge explosion that sounded like a bomb... another huge explosion like the first one hits.... Oh. My God, these bastards put bombs in here like they did in 1993! Then as soon as we get in the stairwell, I hear another huge explosion like the other two. Then I heard bang, bang, bang - huge bangs..."
