Thus the initiation of what might best be described as Bush Wars -- a variation of a theme of Oil Wars.

An extremely credible and interesting article in this regard is by a member of the British Parliament, entitled The War on Terrorism is Bogus. This article has the advantage of basing its argument on what has been learned over the last two years -- but almost never publicized in the mainstream Media. In essence, it explains that the evidence is extremely convincing that the high level neo-conservatives in the US government were aware of the impending strike and took great pains to ensure that it was successfully accomplished. The latter includes making sure every member of the government was immediately unavailable to deal with the crisis as it unfolded o

Clip Source: www.halexandria.org

LIHOP

The basic idea is that LIHOP stands for "Let It Happen On Purpose". In essence, we're dealing here with a theory that suggests the United States federal government -- and very importantly, high level members of the Bush Administration in particular -- were sufficiently forewarned about the 9-11-2001 attacks that these attacks could have been prevented. Furthermore these forewarnings were intentionally ignored, and allowed to happen, in order to have an attack on the order of Pearl Harbor. According to the theory, such an attack could be used to carry out a neo-conservative, covert agenda of invading various countries in the Middle East. By occupying and controlling several countries in the Middle East -- Afghanistan and Iraq spring to mind -- the United States and Britain would then have access and control over the oil fields in these countries.

<clipSource>http://www.halexandria.org/dward255.htm</clipSource>

Bailout Creating a Financial Black Hole

clipped by: katsteevns
clipper's remarks: (cont.)The latest propaganda from the government and the Illuminist think tanks tells us that, treasuries are more secure than gold because they are backed by the US government and gold has a counter party risk by whoever is storing your gold as the counter party. Moreover, extensive ethnic cleansing has taken place in the country (another good indication of progress, n'est-ce pas?). Sunnis and Shiites are now living more in their own special enclaves than before, none of those stinking mixed communities with their unholy mixed marriages, so violence of the sectarian type has also gone down; and the powerful movement of Shiite leader Muqtada al-Sadr has had a cease-fire in effect for many months, unconnected to the surge. On top of all this, US soldiers, in the face of numerous "improvised explosive devices" on the roads, have been venturing out a lot less (for fear of things like ... well, dying), so the violence against our noble lads is also down. Remember that insurgent attacks on American forces is how the Iraqi violence all began in the first place.

Clip Source: www.informationclearinghouse.info

When

Chalmers explains to Real News Network's Senior Editor Paul Jay how the military-industrial complex is a driving force behind the current financial crisis and a determinant of much of what happens in Washington. He also criticizes the omission of the military-industrial complex from the political discourse determined by the two major parties and the media.

<clipSource>http://therealnews.com/t/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=31&Itemid=74&jumival=2450</clipSource>

FINAL VOTE RESULTS FOR ROLL CALL 681

clipped by: katsteevns
clipper's remarks: Breakdown at source.

Clip Source: clerk.house.gov

FINAL VOTE RESULTS FOR ROLL CALL 681

Yeas

Nays

PRES

NV

Democratic

172

63

Republican

91

108

Independent

TOTALS

263

171

<clipSource>http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2008/roll681.xml</clipSource>

How George Bush Supports our Troops

clipped by: katsteevns

Clip Source: www.brasschecktv.com

How George Bush
Supports our Troops

<clipSource>http://www.brasschecktv.com/page/319.html</clipSource>

From Empire to Democracy

clipped by: katsteevns
clipper's remarks: (c0nt.)There is a much better solution to the current financial crisis. But it requires discarding what has been conventional "wisdom" for too long: that government intervention in the economy ("big government") must be avoided like the plague, because the "free market" will guide the economy towards growth and justice.

Let's face a historical truth: we have never had a "free market", we have always had government intervention in the economy, and indeed that intervention has been welcomed by the captains of finance and industry. If I could save the Union without freeing any slave, I would do it."

So what was the Civil War all about? There were many factors at play. Northern industrialists had used protective tariffs to prevent their southern states from buying cheaper European goods. Europe retaliated by stopping cotton imports from the South. The Southern states were in a financial bind. They were forced to pay more for most of the necessities of life while their income from cotton exports plummeted. The South grew ncreasingly angry.

But there were other factors at work. ... The central bankers now saw an pportunity to use the North/South divisions to split the rich new nation - t divide and conquer by war. Was this just some sort of wild conspiracy theory? Well, let's look at what a well placed observer of the scene had to say at time.(cont. at source)

Clip Source: www.thetruthseeker.co.uk

How International Bankers Gained Control of America

From a Video Script Produced by Patrick S. One month after the inauguration of Abraham Lincoln, the first shots of the American Civil War were fired at Fort Sumter, South Carolina on April 12,1861. ...

Certainly slavery was a cause for the Civil War, but not the primary cause. Lincoln knew that the economy of the South depended upon slavery and so (before the Civil War) he had no intention of eliminating it. Lincoln had put it this way in his inaugural address only one month earlier:

"I have no purpose, directly or indirectly, to interfere with the institution of slavery in the states where it now exists. I believe I have no lawful right to do so, and I have no inclination to do so."

Even after the first shots were fired at Fort Sumter, Lincoln continued to insist that the Civil War was not about the issue of slavery:
