It’s pretty clear in this iteration that iSporty will cater mainly to the UK market, and global users might feel a little lost among the hordes of soccer fans.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;hr size="2" color="#666666" /&gt;&lt;div style="padding: 10px;"&gt;&lt;div style="text-align:left;"&gt;&lt;P&gt;You need to be logged in to see the full extent of the new features, which include the site’s TV web channel iSporty TV, regularly updated sporting news, blogging, fansites, scrapbooks and photo sharing.  There’s also the ability to keep a calendar and post events.  Groups, meanwhile, are populated with photos from Flickr and videos from &lt;A href="http://mashable.com/2005/12/26/youtube-the-king-of-video-sharing/"&gt;YouTube&lt;/A&gt; and &lt;A href="http://mashable.com/2006/06/30/google-video-copies-youtube-serves-up-myspace-codes/"&gt;Google Video&lt;/A&gt; - there’s Google Maps integration, too. All these responses are made public, meaning that you can browse through all the responses from that user’s friends and fans - my only wish here is that it would play all the responses in a row, rather than forcing you to click the “next” button (this isn’t intuitive).  &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;hr size="2" color="#666666" /&gt;&lt;div style="padding: 10px;"&gt;&lt;div style="text-align:left;"&gt;&lt;P&gt;Flikzor is neat, and so long as MySpace users aren’t too camera shy, we should see a good number of the widgets popping up.  One of the most successful MySpace add-ons being tracked by &lt;A href="http://mashable.com/category/labs"&gt;Mashable Labs&lt;/A&gt; this year is Snapvine’s &lt;A href="http://mashable.com/2006/07/27/snapvine-adds-voice-comments-to-myspace/"&gt;voice comments&lt;/A&gt; widget, which lets users accept audio comments on their MySpace profiles - Flikzor is essentially a video version, which could bode well.  Services like Stickam, &lt;A href="http://mashable.com/2006/09/15/flixn-launches-webcam-video-codes-for-myspace/"&gt;Flixn&lt;/A&gt; and Hellodeo’s &lt;A href="http://mashable.com/2006/07/17/hellodeo-instant-video-codes-for-myspace-and-blogs/" set="yes"&gt;MySpace video codes&lt;/A&gt; allow you to post webcam videos to your pages, but last time I checked, they didn’t allow conversations to occur on the widget itself (that may have changed by now).  There’s also the potential, of course, for YouTube to add a “video response” button to their embedded players, but that’s not the case at the moment. With over 140 million accounts (not all active, admittedly), MySpace has become a cultural phenomenon.  The site’s standout feature is the freedom it provides to users - you can add slideshows, pictures, custom designs and much more.  MySpace is also the number one destination online for upcoming bands, and their &lt;A href="http://mashable.com/2006/09/01/breaking-myspace-to-sell-music-from-3-million-bands/"&gt;plan to sell music from these bands&lt;/A&gt; next year is surely set to reshape the music industry.  We see MySpace as the new MTV, with one crucial difference: the users are the stars.  With a MySpace page, anyone can be a celebrity, creating an online image that’s sometimes an alter-ego to their true personality.  In the coming year, MySpace plans to expand to the massive Chinese market (see &lt;A href="http://mashable.com/2006/12/01/myspace-china-what-we-know/" set="yes"&gt;MySpace  China&lt;/A&gt;).  We’re not convinced that they can stand up to local competition, but we’re keen to find out.  &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;hr size="2" color="#666666" /&gt;&lt;div style="padding: 10px;"&gt;&lt;div style="text-align:left;"&gt;&lt;P&gt;Meanwhile, we think &lt;A href="http://mashable.com/2006/05/07/myspace-alternatives-bebo/"&gt;Bebo&lt;/A&gt; is the most “exciting” social network right now. A small post about the Social Networking Awards on the Multiply blog resulted in a landslide win for the social network, which emphasizes networking with real friends.  We’ve expressed concerns in the past that this “closed” model may slow their growth, but we also feel that it differentiates Multiply from the hordes of MySpace clones.  That said, &lt;A href="http://mashable.com/2006/07/14/multiply-gets-funding/"&gt;Multiply&lt;/A&gt; now has a major competitor.  &lt;A href="http://mashable.com/2006/10/26/vox-launches/"&gt;Vox&lt;/A&gt;, which came second in terms of votes despite the lack of coaxing by the Vox team, is an outstanding blog platform. The undisclosed amount comes from Mission Ventures and Enterprise Partners Venture Capital.  They get 1.3 million unique visitors per month, they say, and have partnerships with the likes of Fox Home Entertainment, Sony Pictures, Warner Bros and Bravo TV.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;hr size="2" color="#666666" /&gt;&lt;div style="padding: 10px;"&gt;&lt;div style="text-align:left;"&gt;&lt;P&gt;It’s fairly standard attempt, with profile pages, messaging, networks of friends, a Flash player, commenting, tags, ratings and the ability to post videos to &lt;A href="http://mashable.com/2006/08/25/facebook-profile/"&gt;Facebook&lt;/A&gt;, &lt;A href="http://mashable.com/2006/08/04/delicious-adds-network-badges-now-officially-a-social-network/"&gt;del.icio.us&lt;/A&gt; and &lt;A href="http://mashable.com/2006/06/26/digg-v3-launches/"&gt;Digg&lt;/A&gt;. Like MySpace, YouTube is experiencing network effects: it now has all the content and all the users, and there’s little reason to go elsewhere.
