After two days of marches, protests and rallies about 100 students at UC Berkeley have occupied Wheeler hall, a building on the Berkeley campus. The students moved into the building after the UC Regents voted to raise fees over 32%. Student and faculty supporters have surrounded the building.

According to KGO there have been at least 41 arrests, including one professor.

“They are using batons on them. They physically abused them and after that they arrested them,” said student Raul Hernandez, according to KGO.

Second of all, Palin’s analysis of what really happened with the now infamous (and totally misunderstood) Couric and Gibson interviews could not be LESS whiny — it is instead full of fact-filled writing that finally provides the full story of what really happened in the way that only a book can do (my documentary, which I am told Palin handed to her collaborator and said “here, this is what happened” could only provide a foundation of understanding that is magnified in much greater detail in Going Rogue).

The bottom line is that the AP is either purposefully or out of their own profound unconscious bias, badly missing the most important points of Sarah Palin’s book. Considering the role the mainstream media played in creating the need for her to write this book in the first place, that should not be a big surprise.

I am so confused. I just can't imagine why anyone would think that riding a bike in the city is dangerous. The bike rider's injurys may be serious but they can't be as bad as the poor guy driving the truck.

It isn't, compared to driving a car. 43,443 Americans were killed in auto accidents in 2005 versus 784 cyclists.

Cheerleading accounts for 65% of all female catastrophic injuries in high school and college, according to the University of North Carolina's National Center for Catastrophic Sport Injury Research. The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the number of injuries from cheerleading accidents has more than quadrupled in 25 years. Another report put the number of cheerleader emergency room visits in 2007 at 26,786.

Risk-assessment experts say it's hard to get a handle on the perils of cheerleading. For one thing, nobody knows how many cheerleaders there are. Estimates say there are about 400,000 public high school cheerleaders, but the NCAA doesn't track participation (it's not considered a sport) and the number of cheerleaders on private teams isn't known.

Witnesses told police the boys celebrated the attacks by joyfully jumping and slapping hands. Police held the men overnight and they were returned to Israel the next day. All this was reported in the mainstream media, but the story was immediately dropped. How did these Israelis know where to be and when to film the Trade Center disaster?

Air Force Vet Breaks Silence on What Hit Pentagon on 9-11

A veteran Air Force mechanic called to help clean up the Sept. 11, 2001 explosion at the Pentagon says the U.S. government’s blaming a plane for the damage makes no sense. The evidence was staged, he said.

The scene at the Pentagon “doesn’t look right,” the airman said. “There was only a piece of engine and sections of landing gear on the ground. It was like they were placed there. Where were the wings? Tail section? We expected to find a lot of debris but there was very little.”

There were “two massive engines” from planes that had, according to the government, penetrated the Pentagon “but the holes were too small” for that to be true, the airman said. The holes in the Pentagon were of the size made by Predators—the remote-controlled spy planes used in Iraq and Afghanistan—he said.

His “first instinct” is still with him. The airman told AMERICAN FREE PRESS: “We attacked ourselves to set up the invasion of Iraq.”

When you communicate with an animal you will likely experience a “zone” that is unlike what you normally feel in communication with humans. The closest experience might be the non-verbal awareness of holding a baby or being with a lover.

It is an embodied physical experience. In this space we are tuned into our sensations. Our intuition guides us.

Concessions to the fantastic demands of statists lead to more dissatisfaction and anger, and increasingly fantastic demands.

Intolerance of divergent opinions, hatred toward "non-believers", the obsession to dominate and control every aspect of others' lives, and a dogmatic attitude guided by emotion rather than logic, are some examples.

The statist philosophy, whether Islamic or otherwise, appears to condone and even embrace the concept of eliminating the members of the opposition by murdering them. While the left projects hatred, racism, and evil on the conservative end of the spectrum, it is they who actually exhibit these attributes.

The end game of the left is the abortion and eugenic elimination of the "undesirables", the euthanasia of the old and infirm, and the genocide of those who disagree. Its objective is the purity of socialist thought. And it is pure evil.

First of all, the headline "Harvard Prof Arrested Trying to Enter Own Home" is not accurate. He was arrested for being a belligerent idiot. When you are seen by neighbors trying to pry open a locked door it doesn't matter what color you are, you will be reported to the police. And when the cops come and ask you to identify yourself you don't get all uppity [yes I said uppity] and refuse to do so because you think everything is about race.

This moron, instead of supplying a simple proof that he was indeed in his own home called the officer a racist and said, "This is what happens to black men in America," according to the Associated Press (1). How dare the police not recognize that Gates is the director of the W.E.B. Du Bois Institute for African and African American Research!

The police officer who arrested a Harvard professor for disorderly conduct said Thursday he wants President Obama, who is the educator's friend, to butt out of the incident.

Cambridge, Mass., Sgt. James Crowley arrested Henry Louis Gates Jr. in his home last week after he responded to a report of two black men attempting to break in to Gates' home.

It turned out that Gates, head of Harvard's W.E.B. Du Bois Institute for African and African American Research, had broken into his own home after being unable to find his keys upon his return from a trip to China.

Asked about the incident, Obama, who is friends with the professor and documentary filmmaker, told reporters at a Wednesday night press conference that he didn't know all the facts. But he said, "the Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof that they were in their own home."

Hundreds of desperate people, most without any medical insurance, descended on the clinic from out of the hills. People queued in long lines to have the most basic medical procedures carried out free of charge. Some had driven more than 200 miles from Georgia. Many were treated in the open air. Potter took pictures of patients lying on trolleys on rain-soaked pavements.

For Potter it was a dreadful realisation that healthcare in America had failed millions of poor, sick people and that he, and the industry he worked for, did not care about the human cost of their relentless search for profits.
