They don't want a "state", they want the Israelis destroyed and obliterated from the Earth. Why can't people see this and why do we keep having articles trying to explain it?

Clip Source: www.shns.com

Bush offered Palestinians a state, and they refused

Six years ago, on June 24th, 2002, President Bush turned American policy in the Middle East in a new direction. In a groundbreaking speech, he announced that the U.S. would support the creation of a Palestinian state. His only condition was that Palestinians first choose "leaders not compromised by terror." He asked also that they "confront corruption," and "build a practicing democracy based on tolerance and liberty."

But it was more power that Hamas' leaders coveted so, in 2007, they launched a wave of violence against rival Fatah security forces. Since then, Hamas has been unchallenged inside Gaza and no one talks of new elections or civil rights.

Nor has Hamas attempted to build an economic base. Instead, it turned to Iran's rulers for money and guidance - and then complained that Palestinians were living in squalor because they weren't receiving sufficient funds from the U.S. and Europe.

<clipSource>http://www.shns.com/shns/g_index2.cfm?action=detail&pk=MAY-07-02-08</clipSource>

Jefferson Accused of Two More Schemes

clipped by: jatfla
clipper's remarks: When are they going to get on with this and convict or clear? DONORS WHOSE addresses turn out to be tenements. Dishwashers and waiters who write $1,000 checks. Immigrants who ante up because they have been instructed to by powerful neighborhood associations, or, as one said, "They informed us to go, so I went." Others who say they never made the contributions listed in their names or who were not eligible to give because they are not legal residents of the United States. This is the disturbingly familiar picture of Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential campaign presented last week in a report by the Los Angeles Times

I don't believe this is news; political campaigns =corruption. Mrs. Clinton's campaign is suspect due to the recent revelations with Mr. Hua (sp), her husband's past suspicious connections with Chinese donations, the sheer amount of dollars in her treasure chest.

I just wish the *journalists* would investigate campaign corruption as aggressively as they did Florida's ballots and voting machines in 2000.

Clip Source: www.latimes.com

An unlikely treasure-trove of donors for Clinton

others scattered throughout some of the poorest Chinese neighborhoods in Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx, have been swept by an extraordinary impulse to shower money on one particular presidential candidate -- Democratic front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Then "you decide".

Clip Source: hotair.com

May 27, 2007 -- It now looks like the American people will never learn how - and why - Bill Clinton's national security adviser, Sandy "Sticky Fingers" Berger, stole and destroyed classified documents from the National Archives.

That's because Berger - in a significant, but little-noticed, move - has short-circuited the last investigation into his sordid little burglary.

As Byron York reports at National Review Online, Berger last week voluntarily surrendered his law license.

What it does, however, is prematurely end an investigation by the District of Columbia Bar Association into Berger's confessed thievery. It also means that details of the probe, which would have been made public, now remain sealed.

Tags: politics, corruption

<clipSource>http://www.nypost.com/seven/05272007/postopinion/editorials/bergers_eternal_secret_editorials_.htm</clipSource>

Bush authorizes new covert action against Iran...

clipped by: jatfla
clipper's remarks: More undermining of our national security??!! So he willingly gave up his law license to avoid answering "embarrassing" questions; big deal. I don't think any of us would have the same options if we had been caught with highly classified documents in our possession. Things like this reminds me of how corrupt our government has become.

Clip Source: www.cnsnews.com

Sandy Berger Forfeits Law License

Former Clinton National Security Advisory Sandy Berger gave up his law license and likely will never practice law again.

Facing the prospect of an embarrassing cross-examination by the District of Columbia Board on Bar Counsel related to his theft of classified documents from the National Archives, Berger forfeited his law license on May 17. The Washington Times broke the story.

In April 2005, Berger pled guilty in federal court to stealing classified documents from the National Archives, destroying some of those documents, and lying to federal investigators.

Why would Berger take such a huge personal and professional risk? Apparently, the stolen documents included a highly secret memorandum (possibly with handwritten notes) that was allegedly critical of the Clinton administration's response to the "Millennium 2000" terror plot to bomb the Los Angeles International Airport.

Tags: corruption, politics

<clipSource>http://www.cnsnews.com/ViewCommentary.asp?Page=/Commentary/archive/200705/COM20070522a.html</clipSource>
