Gun Battle in Ramadi, Insurgent Shown Sniped

A gun battled ensued in the Iraqi city of Ramadi. The gun battle began when a tanker loaded with fuel oil driving through the center of Ramadi was attacked by insurgents with rocket fire, causing it to explode. US forces then retaliated against the insurgents. The end of the video shows a wounded insurgent getting shot by US forces while he is on the ground during the gun battle. There were no immediate official reports on casualties. One insurgent was seen to be killed in the clash.

Ramadi is considered to be the southwest point of Iraq's Sunni Triangle. It has been a focal point of resistance to the U.S. occupation of Iraq.

Teenager gives birth to surprise baby

LONDON (AFP) - A 13-year-old British girl who did not realise she was pregnant has given birth to a baby weighing three kilos (six-and-a-half pounds) she has named Sophie.

Charlotte Maddox said she remembered feeling "a bit podgy" but did not know she was pregnant until she went into labour. Initially, she put her contractions down to a stomach infection.

"I was screaming in pain and put it down to eating too much. I was screaming in pain and shouted, 'I've got to push something, it's coming!'" she told Britain's Daily Mirror.

"That was the first time I realised I was pregnant and about to become a mum. Suddenly the pain disappeared and I was in total shock.

"The next thing I knew was hearing Sophie scream for the first time. I was so relieved she was safe. Then it suddenly hit me that I was a mum.

"My whole life had changed in three hours. I went from feeling a bit poorly and worrying about my homework to holding a newborn baby in my arms and worrying about a new life."

The teenager, from Devon, southwest England, said she had lost her virginity on the day of her 13th birthday.

She was living with a foster family at the time, although she returned to live with her parents in September.

She said she had no desire to see the 15-year-old father of her baby daughter.

"I don't want him looking after her. He wasn't the nicest boy in the world, and I think we will be better off without him," she said.

I think at this point, it's safe to say that Lindsay Lohan probably isn't the best role model for today's young girls. In the span of one week, she went from hooking up with Jonathan Rhys Meyers and an Olympian, to spending the night with Wilmer Valderrama. She isn't exactly loyal to her "friends", and, apparently, she can't keep her clothes on either (though we don't mind that so much).

And now, thanks to the pictures below, we also know what she's like when she hangs out with her friends... Drugs, drinking (in the car), smoking, and giving the finger. A lot.

So, could we finally have photographic evidence of Lindsay Lohan using drugs? Well, I'm not going to say anything conclusive ('cause I really don't need a law suit right now), but that sure looks a lot like a line of cocaine on the table behind Lindsay in the first picture? Or is it maybe a joint? It's hard to tell, but I welcome your comments (after the jump). I know there is definitely a bong on the table in the second picture.

HIV-Positive Man Recieves 15 Year Sentence For Unprotected Sex

A 36 year old HIV-positive man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for lying about his disease and for having unprotected sex with seven women in New Westminster, British Columbia.

Adrien Nduwayo had unprotected sex with seven women, three of them becoming infected with HIV, and one of them also having his baby. Nduwayo came from Africa in 1993, but was diagnosed with HIV in 1996. He lied to the women about his disease, and told his partners that condoms were unpleasant and unnecessary.

Nduwayo was found guilty of five charges of aggravated sexual assault, one charge of attempted aggravated sexual assault and one charge of sexual assault back in December. All of the women, except for one, consented with sex with Nduwayo, and the jury decided they would not have sex with him having known that he was HIV-positive. Nduwayo's baby is not infected with HIV.

Channel News Crew Caught In Afghan Crossfire

While filming a burning school, a reporter and producer from the United Kingdom's Channel 4 News are caught in the crossfire of Taliban remnants and Afghan forces. The Afghan forces rush the scene and corner the news crew. The two attempt, to no avail, to tell the Afghan forces that they're not with the Taliban. After a short firefight one of the Taliban fighters is captured.

Give a boring car a pimping touch when you control the color!

Step 1 Many people requested this effect because they had many difficulties with it...
The "real" problem, using the pen-tool, was sometimes the major error, but once you get the hang of it, this tutorial will be a piece of cake!
1st, the pen-tool! The pen-tool is the most detailed and precise tool there is. Unlike the polygonal lasso-tool, this tool DOES make curves when you want one!
Experiment a little with the pen-tool before starting this tutorial to see how it works...
Step 2 Now, get the pen-tool and start selecting everything you want to spray:
Step 3 Right click with the pen-tool and click Make a Selection and press OK;
Copy the selection and paste it into a new layer;
Desaturate by pressing CTRL+U and make it black&white and add a gradient with the blending-mode to multiply;
Step 4 You can also add some vinyl or a logo, new rims, a new hood, a spoiler and window tinting, but that is something you need to figure out yourself ;)

1		Open an image to edit.

2		Duplicate the current layer (Ctrl+J) and add a layer mask (Layer> Layer Mask> Reveal All).

3		With the layer mask selected, use the Apply Image tool (Image> Apply Image) to apply the following properties: Layer: Merged Channel: RGB Invert: Unchecked Blending: Normal

4		Unlink the current layer with its layer mask (Layer> Layer Mask> Unlink) then select the top layer (not its layer mask) by clicking on the left thumbnail in the Layers pallet.

5		Apply a Median filter (Filter> Noise> Median) with a Radius that will blur most of the detail without losing the shape of the objects. For the 566x848 pixels image used for this tutorial, a Radius of 10 pixels was used.
