You can imagine that if this works like it says on the tin it'll give great speedy access to your pocket pc apps.

HButton is program for PocketPC (2003, WM5, WM6), which allows you to asssign unlimited number of applications to one hardware button on your device.

HButton is, and will be, FREEWARE. You can use it without any payments or limitations

Usage is very simple. If you press and hold button on which HButton is assigned, names of selected applications will be shown in given order. When you will see name of application you want to start, just release button.

Start Firefox (or Thunderbird) in Safe Mode

clipper's remarks: After a Firefox extension prevented me from starting up Firefox normally (the extension just kept on pounding the CPU and wouldn't let up) I solved the problem simply by starting Firefox in Safe Mode as described in the clip and disabling the extension. I then simply started Firefox up again normally. Bingo

Safe Mode is a debugging startup mode where all added extensions are disabled and the default theme and toolbar settings are used.

To enter Safe Mode you must first make sure Firefox or Thunderbird is not running in the background.

Use the "Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode)", "Mozilla Thunderbird (Safe Mode)", or "Mozilla Thunderbird (No Extensions)" shortcut in the Mozilla Firefox or Mozilla Thunderbird program folder on the Windows Start Menu. If this shortcut is missing, you can start in Safe Mode by selecting "Start -> Run" (on Windows Vista, use "Start Search" or enable the Run box, as described here) and entering,

For Firefox, one of these:

firefox -safe-mode

What is Transliteration?

Blogger offers an automatic transliteration option for converting Roman characters to the Devanāgarī characters used in Hindi. This lets you type Hindi words phonetically in English script and still have them appear in their correct alphabet. Note that this is not the same as translation -- it is the sound of the words that are converted from one alphabet to the other, not their meaning. For example, typing "hamesha" transliterates into Hindi as:

Enabling the Transliteration Feature

To enable this feature, go to the Settings | Basics page and select "Yes" for the transliteration option. This setting will affect all blogs on your account, similar to the Compose Mode setting.

Converting documents to mediawiki markup

Word Documents

Saving a relatively simple Word document (no images or tables) to html and then running that through the converter here produced good mediawiki formatting. A document including images, tables, and centered text did not work as well. The images would need to be added to OWW separately, the table also didn't come out quite right and centered text was no longer centered.

A series of Word macros for doing simple conversions (including tables) is here; they seem to work reasonably well but aren't designed for sophisticated layouts.

So here are some pics.
Note however the "fatal flaw" according to Gizmodo. You can't open it up.
To be honest, I don't really see that as an issue. I think many laptop owners, especially those that go for eye-candy never go near the inside of their laptop, or change the battery.

Windows mobile app won't start

clipper's remarks: If your Windows Mobile application won't start, this could be solved simply by renaming the program's .mui file.
The clip demonstrates what is meant by this.
For the Dutch (NL) operating system the number required is 0413.

To get it to work on diff. language WM5 system change the file ending on mui-files to the correct name.

I have a swedish WM5-device. Changed mui-file from StreamingPlayer.exe.0404.mui to StreamingPlayer.exe.041D.mui (Since 041D is the swedish mui-files are supposed to have.)

After this change the sw works just fine on my system. Before the change nothing happened when trying to start the application.

Well to be honest with you all, I'm really not sure how I got it to work Step-By-Step, but I will try my best.
First off I NEVER use WMP. I use CorePlayer for 90% of things, and when it's streaming stuff I use HTC Streaming Media. Here are a couple links.

Nee, Orange TV werkt niet op een windows mobile toetsel.

Helaas wisten ze dat zelfs in de Orangeshop niet en heb ik me zo'n abbonnement aangeschaft. Kon met veel pijn en moeite weer ongedaan worden gemaakt. Schande!

Radio Interface Layer ( RIL )

ROM Upgrade Utility ( RUU ) - Its the s/w used on ur PC to do ROM upgrade for your PPC

( IPL/SPL ) - Its the bootloader for PPC. IPL is the Initial Program Loader. It boots up SPL - Secondary Program Loader. SPL in turn loads the actual OS.
