A new NASA satellite has recorded the first detailed images from space of a mysterious type of cloud called “night-shining” or “noctilucent." 
&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;hr size="2" color="#666666" /&gt;&lt;div style="padding: 10px;"&gt;&lt;div style="text-align:left;"&gt;&lt;P&gt;
The &lt;A href="http://www.space.com/php/multimedia/imagedisplay/img_display.php?pic=070628_night_clouds_02.jpg&amp;cap=This+image+shows+one+of+the+first+ground+sightings+of+noctilucent+clouds+in+the+2007+season+over+Budapest%2C+Hungary+on+June+15%2C+2007.+Credit:+Veres+Vik"&gt;clouds&lt;/A&gt;  are on the move, brightening and creeping out of polar regions, and researchers don't know why.
&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;hr size="2" color="#666666" /&gt;&lt;div style="padding: 10px;"&gt;&lt;div style="text-align:left;"&gt;&lt;P&gt;
"It is clear that these clouds are changing, a sign that a part of our atmosphere is changing and we do not understand how, why or what it means," said atmospheric scientists James Russell III of Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia. "&lt;A href="http://www.space.com/php/multimedia/imagedisplay/img_display.php?pic=070628_arctic_nclouds_02.jpg&amp;cap=On+June+11%2C+2007+the+cameras+on+the+AIM+satellite+returned+some+of+the+first+data+documenting+noctilucent+clouds+over+the+Arctic+regions+of+Europe+and+N"&gt;These observations&lt;/A&gt;  suggest a connection with global change in the lower atmosphere and could represent an early warning that our Earth environment is being changed."

The "&lt;A href="http://www.space.com/businesstechnology/070425_techwed_aim.html"&gt;Aeronomy of Ice in the Mesosphere&lt;/A&gt;” (AIM) satellite first imaged the noctilucent clouds May 25. People on the ground began seeing them June 6 over Northern Europe.

Sex with partners, with self, or as a part of exploring new relationships is usually a pleasurable act of choice. For sexual addicts however, sexual behavior can be most often defined by words such as driven, compulsive and hidden. Unlike healthy sex that is integrated into relationships, sexual addicts use sex as a means to cope, to handle boredom, anxiety and other powerful feelings or as a way to feel important, wanted or powerful. While sexual addiction is not defined by any particular sexual act, sexual addiction is defined by the feelings and activities surrounding sex. Patrick Carnes, Ph.D. in his groundbreaking 1978 book on sexual addiction, &lt;EM&gt;Out of the Shadows&lt;/EM&gt;, helps to define sexually addictive behavior as sexual activity that often falls into one of three categories: Shameful, Secretive or Abusive.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;hr size="2" color="#666666" /&gt;&lt;div style="padding: 10px;"&gt;&lt;div style="text-align:left;"&gt;&lt;P class="MainCopy"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Shameful&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Shame can be defined as a feeling of inner worthlessness or despair about ever being good enough. Many clients report that their internalized messages around masturbation are that the act itself is "dirty", "shameful", or "sinful."&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;hr size="2" color="#666666" /&gt;&lt;div style="padding: 10px;"&gt;&lt;div style="text-align:left;"&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;
While most sex addicts actively seek treatment, pushed by some obvious consequence of a legal, occupational, health or relational type, the solitary nature of the compulsive masturbator's behavior leaves their actions less subject to the direct consequences of other forms of sexual acting out. The addict engaging in compulsive masturbation seeks therapeutic intervention for help as a last resort, seeking relief from anxiety, obsession, isolation and the inability to seek or maintain healthy intimate relationships. Some compulsive masturbators do experience consequences through the viewing of inappropriate materials i.e. child pornography or through masturbating in inappropriate places i.e. the workplace or an automobile. However, the most frequent consequence of compulsive masturbation is a life devoid of intimacy, removed from feeling and filled with hidden shame.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;hr size="2" color="#666666" /&gt;&lt;div style="padding: 10px;"&gt;&lt;div style="text-align:left;"&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;
As to the behavior of compulsive masturbation itself this can take place in differing forms. For example there are men who masturbate daily as a part of their "morning or evening routine." Many people allow themselves to engage in sexual behaviors online (S&amp;M, cybersex with adolescents or children, presenting themselves as persons of the opposite gender) which they would never do in the real world. Upon reflection many recovering love addicts can relate to having used some strategy or another all of their lives in an attempt to find and keep sexual and romantic partners. One woman put it this way, "I never once went to a party without wondering who I could get a date with or get into bed, I always dressed for it and I always looked for it." Whether through revealing dress, flirtatious manner or seductive talk; the addict is always hunting and searching in one form or another to try to bring that special attention, intensity and arousal that the latest tryst or liaison can bring forth. One important part of the love and sex addicts' recovery process is recognition of those methods used to attract and manipulate others.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;hr size="2" color="#666666" /&gt;&lt;div style="padding: 10px;"&gt;&lt;div style="text-align:left;"&gt;&lt;P class="MainCopy"&gt;As the addict begins to consciously cast these aside, using the support of &lt;A class="MainLink" href="http://www.sexualrecovery.com/resources/12step.php"&gt;12 step&lt;/A&gt; members, friends and often therapy; they come to learn their real human worth, lessening the need for superficial, sexualized attention.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;hr size="2" color="#666666" /&gt;&lt;div style="padding: 10px;"&gt;&lt;div style="text-align:left;"&gt;&lt;P class="MainCopy"&gt;In order for recovery from any addiction to take place, there must be a bottom-line definition of sobriety. For the alcoholic, this is a simple definition -- alcoholics and drug addicts define sobriety as the amount of time they have abstained from the use of alcohol and other mind-altering chemicals. Abstaining from the use of these substances is the recovering person's sobriety time. Romance has seemed as inexplicable as the beauty of a rainbow. But these days scientists are challenging that notion, and they have rather a lot to say about how and why people love each other.

The scientists think so. For a start, understanding the neurochemical pathways that regulate social attachments may help to deal with defects in people's ability to form relationships. All relationships, whether they are those of parents with their children, spouses with their partners, or workers with their colleagues, rely on an ability to create and maintain social ties. Defects can be disabling, and become apparent as disorders such as autism and schizophrenia — and, indeed, as the serious depression that can result from rejection in love. Research is also shedding light on some of the more extreme forms of sexual behaviour. And, controversially, some utopian fringe groups see such work as the doorway to a future where love is guaranteed because it will be provided chemically, or even genetically engineered from conception.

Even getting out of bed can take a monumental effort, so it may be hard to imagine exercising at all when you're depressed.  No matter what your thoughts are telling you, it really is possible to exercise when you're depressed.  If you take some simple steps, you can add a little activity to your day to help lift your mood and work through your depression.

&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;hr size="2" color="#666666" /&gt;&lt;div style="padding: 10px;"&gt;&lt;div style="text-align:left;"&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Set simple goals.  You don't have to train for a marathon.  Set a goal to get dressed and walking around the block.  Promise yourself you'll walk around the block at least 3 times that day. The next day, do more.  Try to improve just a little bit each day.
&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;hr size="2" color="#666666" /&gt;&lt;div style="padding: 10px;"&gt;&lt;div style="text-align:left;"&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Go easy on yourself.  You might not be able to handle a lot of exercise, so try to feel good about what you CAN do.  Now is not the time to kick yourself!
