Oldest "Human" Skeleton Found--Disproves "Missing Link"

Scientists today announced the discovery of the oldest fossil skeleton of a human ancestor. The find reveals that our forebears underwent a previously unknown stage of evolution more than a million years before Lucy, the iconic early human ancestor specimen that walked the Earth 3.2 million years ago.

The centerpiece of a treasure trove of new fossils, the skeleton—assigned to a species called Ardipithecus ramidus—belonged to a small-brained, 110-pound (50-kilogram) female nicknamed "Ardi." (See pictures of Ardipithecus ramidus.)

Far be it for me to play armchair shrink here, but the more I see how the modern leftist mind works, the more I am convinced that there is a very real mental disorder in play.

I thought they were just well indoctrinated by yesteryears’ draft dodgers become Ivy League Law professors or anti-American ACLU legal hacks. But the closer I look at their consistent behavioral patterns, the more I become convinced that there is a mass psychosis involved.

If there was ever a group “out of touch with reality” and chasing imaginary “demons in the dark,” it is the modern American leftist.

Lawmakers Respond to ACORN Controversy

On Monday the Senate voted 83 to 7 to strip the the community based organization of 1 and half million dollars of federal housing money..funds the group says they use to assist low income people afford homes. U.S. Senator Bob Casey is one of the few who voted to support ACORN this week. But did say ACORN should be investigated fully. ACORN has said the videos are are a sham. Its Philadelphia chapter said the two posers tried to pull the same stunt on them back in July. But Republican Congressmen Charlie Dent and Jim Gerlach are two who have signed a letter asking to President Obama stop ACORN funding...

Jon Stewart slams media for missing ACORN story: 'Where the hell were you!?

Last night, Jon Stewart featured video clips of ACORN employees advising undercover journalists posing as a pimp and a prostitute how to hide the nature of their business in their tax forms.

Stewart joined conservatives in their criticism of the media, wondering why major media outlets failed to investigate ACORN or report on the investigative videos.

"I’m a fake journalist, and I’m embarrassed these guys scooped me," he added, "Let's get to work people!"

According to Obama’s Green Job’s Czar, Van Jones, Republicans “are a**holes.” And guess what? “Barack Obama is not an asshole.”

So there you have it in a nutshell. Barack Obama, the non-asshole wearing the white hat, is struggling in his attempt to force his socialist agenda down the throats of unwilling Americans and it’s those asshole Republicans wearing the black hats that are to blame. As I stated in a recent AT article, Americans have been called mobsters, racists, partisan, stupid, un-American, and mean, just to name of few of the accusations pouring out of this administration. And now we are assholes because we do not like the direction in which Obama is hell bent on taking the country, popular opinion be damned.

Liberals Push Obama to End Immigration Checks

LOS ANGELES -- Immigrant and civil rights advocates are asking the Obama administration to put an end to a federal program that lets local police and sheriff's departments enforce the country's immigration laws.

More than 500 organizations signed a letter urging Obama to end the program, which they claim has exacerbated racial profiling.

The program has been criticized by the Government Accountability Office and led to a Justice Department Investigation of the Maricopa County, Ariz., sheriff's office.

The government last month announced plans to revamp the program.
