Select a pair of moderately heavy dumbbells. Grab each dumbbell using a regular grip instead of a grip where your palms face inward. Position yourself and have your spotter hand you two dumbbells, one for each hand. Press the dumbbells upward in an explosive fashion. Conversely, return to the start position in a slow and controlled fashion.
