Use Parkinson’s Law. This law says that a task will expand in time and seeming complexity depending on the time you set aside for it. For instance, if you say to yourself that you´ll come up with a solution within a week then the problem will seem to grow more difficult and you´ll spend more and more time trying to come up with a solution. Combine this law with the 80/20 rule to find solutions quickly. Focus your time on finding solutions. Then just give yourself an hour (instead of the whole day) or the day (instead of the whole week) to solve the problem. This will force your mind to focus on solutions and action.

Use the 80/20 rule. Use 80 percent of your time to find solutions and only 20 percent to complain, worry and whine. It might not always be easy but focusing your energy, time and thoughts in this way is much more beneficial to you and others than doing the opposite.

RIO GRANDE CITY -- Border Patrol agents caught a Mexican man wanted in a 2002 homicide shortly after he attempted to sneak back into the United States, Customs and Border Protection said today.

Valentin Mata Nunez, 28, was identified by fingerprints as a fugitive in an Edinburg homicide, CBP spokesman Roy Cervantes said.

Cervantes said Mata and another man activated a Border Patrol sensor as they walked from the banks of the Rio Grande at about noon Sunday. The fingerprint scan turned up warrants for Nunez in the homicide case as well as for an automobile theft in McAllen.

The other man did not have warrants out for him, Cervantes said.

Mata was taken into the custody of the Edinburg police department.

Iran leader: Holocaust a 'myth'

TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has described the Holocaust as "a myth" and suggested that Israel be moved to Europe, the United States, Canada or Alaska.

Germany, the European Commission and Israel condemned the remark, with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier calling it "shocking and unacceptable."

The Israeli government said Ahmadinejad's regime had "a distorted sense of reality."

Ahmadinejad sparked widespread international condemnation in October when he called for Israel to be "wiped off the map."

Last week he also expressed doubt about the killing by the Nazis of six million Jews during World War II, but Wednesday was the first occasion when he said in public that the Holocaust was a myth.

"They have invented a myth that Jews were massacred and place this above God, religions and the prophets," Ahmadinejad said in a speech to thousands of people in the Iranian city of Zahedan, according to a report on Wednesday from Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB).

"If somebody in their country questions God, nobody says anything, but if somebody denies the myth of the massacre of Jews, the Zionist loudspeakers and the governments in the pay of Zionism will start to scream," he said.

"Our proposal is this: Give a piece of your land in Europe, the United States, Canada or Alaska so they (Jews) can create their own state," Ahmadinejad said, IRIB reported.

"Why, under the pretext of this massacre, have you come to the heart of Palestine and the Islamic world? Why have you created an artificial Zionist regime?"

Mark Regev, spokesman for Israel's Foreign Ministry, said: "The combination of a regime with a radical agenda, together with a distorted sense of reality that is clearly indicated by the statements we heard today, put together with nuclear weapons -- I think that's a dangerous combination that no one in the international community can accept."
